From Dyson's new special-edition colourway to Saie's 90s-worthy lip pencils, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Dyson

New special-edition colourway and Airwrap i.d. Multi-Styler and Dryer, Dyson

Dyson is known for producing some of the most-loved styling tools in the industry – and the appliance company has just unveiled its latest colourway ahead of the gifting season.

Inspired by a 15-acre glasshouse in Carrington, UK, which houses 1,225,000 strawberry plants year-round, the new strawberry bronze and blush pink colourway explores the rich, natural dyes of these strawberries. Available across the brand's Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer and Airstrait Straightener, as well as its new Airwrap i.d. Multi-Styler and Dryer - the first hair tool that can programme custom curls with just the push of a button - the collection will be available in the UK later this year.

It comes after the Airwrap i.d. was unveiled by Dyson last week, allowing users to personalise their curling sequence by inputting their hair profile on the MyDyson app, listing their hair type, length and skill level. The new innovation attempts to make curling hair foolproof for anyone and everyone. It doesn’t bypass hair health either, as the heat and airflow levels are intuitively controlled based on the styling preferences added to the app. With barrels and attachments to suit every style, the bespoke versatility of the tool makes it the most personal styler on the market.

Lip Liner 101, Saie

Saie is best known for its viral complexion products, from its Glowy Super Gel to Liquid Bronzer. But, this time, the cosmetics company is stepping out of its comfort zone with its first lip liners. Well, the Gen Z-loved makeup brand has done it again, creating five 90s-worthy lip pencils that glide on effortlessly.

Designed to enhance the wearer's natural lip shape, the easy-to-blend liner will be available in five versatile shades: French (pink nude), Wink (rose nude), Flirt (caramel nude), Twist (mauve nude), and Tease (plum brown nude). Each is created to stack seamlessly with the brand’s high-shine lip gloss oil ‘Glossybounce’, also launching in three exclusive new shimmer shades: Shake (warm nude), Disco (pinky rose), and Remix (mauve). Lip Liner 101 is launching next week, on 3 September, exclusively at Cult Beauty.

Clear Cut Liquid Eyeliner, Haus Labs

Believe it or not, it wasn't until this week that I first tried Lady Gaga's Haus Labs. After playing with this product, I certainly regret waiting so long.

Times change, but one thing isn't budging and that's my penchant for a crisp feline flick (and the brand new Clear Cut Liquid Eyeliner). Exclusively available at Sephora (for £24) the matte, blacker-than-black liquid liner is worth a try next time your go-to finally runs out of ink. Inspired by Japanese Caligraphy, it glides on to create the feline flick of my dreams.

Haus Labs Founder, Lady Gaga, said: "Say hello to Clear Cut Liquid Eyeliner: Haus Labs’ unique take on a highly-usable precision eyeliner. We’re really proud of this one. We’ve spent the last two years developing an ultra-black matte pigment that’s long wearing and won’t transfer or smudge with water or sweat."

She wasn't lying, the proof is in the pudding with this one. Not to mention, unlike many liners on the market, it's clean and completely free of carbon black. But beware! Wait 10 seconds for it to dry down.

CeraVe

CeraVe Oil Control Moisturising Gel Cream

What would we do without CeraVe? It has all bases covered with a quality, effective and fairly priced product. Or at least I think it has all bases covered and then it launches something else we didn't realise we needed. But we do.

I don't have oily skin (I did in my youth and am glad of that now as I do believe that helped keep my skin from shrivelling quite as quickly as it might have) but I do sometimes want a very light moisturiser, particularly in the summer heat (for the record I am currently in Portugal where they do actually have reliably hot summers!).

This gel cream has an immediately mattifying non-comedogenic formula to absorb excess sebum, while maintaining a healthy barrier for all day hydration without the shine. I know there had been a trend for high-shine skin of late but there are days when I shine enough without forcing the issue, and this is perfect for such days.

It contains all the ingredients the play happily with my sensitive skin, such as niacinimide, hyaluronic acid and three ceramides (a signature of the brand from which is derives its name). Available now from CeraVe, Sephora, Amazon and Boots for a reasonable £16.50.
