Here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Trinny

Fearless Skin Tint Drops, Trinny London

These Fearless Skin Tint Drops have been two years in the making and the hard work has paid off. While they have been formulated with the 40-plus woman in mind, I can't imagine anyone wouldn't get on with these, not least because they come in an impressive range of 30 shades, from light to deep, with options for cool, warm and neutral undertones.

At the launch of these in West London this week, I was colour matched within seconds. In fact, the first one that was put on my skin (Frankie for light-medium skin with a golden undertone) hit the jackpot. The Trinny expert gently applied a few drops, handed me a mirror and asked what I thought. At first, I didn't really know what to say because I couldn't see it, so good was the match.

But don't be deceived: while these drops are lightweight and feel like nothing on the skin, they do work hard to cover redness and pigmentation. The result is you, but better. Speaking at the launch, Trinny herself said the idea came from midlife customers who wanted a foundation that wouldn't settle into fine lines and wrinkles and which would enhance the luminosity of the skin.

The answer to the challenge was to create a formula that contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and evodia extract, which helps smooth the skin. It imparts a flattering dewy glow and it definitely does not settle into lines (in fact, regular use over time helps to improve their appearance).

To maintain the stability of the formula, it is housed in a sleek glass bottle with a highly effective pipette dispenser. I have a love/hate relationship with pipettes and it brings joy to find one that works effectively. Give the bottle a shake, dispense a few drops on the back of your hand and apply to your face with fingers, a sponge or a brush, depending on the kind of coverage you want.

Frankie and I are now firm friends.

Available now at www.trinnylondon.com, priced at £45.

Precision Peel, 111SKIN

Luxury skincare brand 111SKIN has launched a new at-home, rinse-off chemical peel designed to deliver effective resurfacing without compromising skin comfort. And for anyone who finds the words “chemical peel” slightly intimidating, its emphasis on gentle, controlled exfoliation is particularly appealing.

The Precision Peel promises to smooth the appearance of skin texture, even out skin tone and reveal a brighter, more radiant complexion - all from the comfort of home.

The treatment draws on founder Dr Yannis Alexandrides’ extensive experience performing chemical peels on hundreds of patients, translating his clinical expertise into an at-home formula designed to make resurfacing feel more approachable.

Powered by Milk Thistle Extract, clinically tested to help counter the visible effects of maturing skin cells, the formula supports skin renewal while targeting the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, dryness, loss of firmness and uneven tone.

A balanced blend of Mandelic, Salicylic and Lactobionic Acids delivers controlled exfoliation to refine texture, unclog pores and boost radiance. Papain gently helps remove dead skin cells, while antioxidant-rich Glutathione helps support the skin barrier and post-exfoliation comfort. Now available at 111SKIN.

Paula's Choice x Hannah Waddingham

Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Intensive Moisturizer, Paula's Choice

To celebrate the launch of its new Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Intensive Moisturizer, science-led skincare brand Paula's Choice has partnered with none other than the mesmerising Hannah Waddingham, star of the feel-good TV series Ted Lasso.

The stars are really aligning for me here. I'm both a fan of the show (I can't wait to watch season 4) and Hannah, but also of Paula's Choice. The launch is also well-timed. As we're heading into autumn, I know my skin will need extra hydration and the new moisturizer is designed to target exactly the kind of recurring skin concerns I experience every time the seasons change and it gets colder: this sensation that the skin is feeling tight and depleted. I've never found anything that really helps in the longer term, so I am very intrigued to see the product's new formula.

Not only does it offer skin barrier support by strengthening the lipid barrier and boosting natural hydration factors, it also features a moisture reserve technology formulated with red micro-algae extract, which helps trap water within the skin’s surface layers to create a lasting moisture reserve.

It also wouldn't be Paula's Choice if they didn't back up their claims with some clinically tested results: it's proven to boost hydration for up to 120 hours and improve the skin barrier in 24 hours.

The moisturizer is available for £49 on the Paula's Choice website and at Space NK.

Lip Blur Balm, Glow Recipe

I don’t tend to use matte lipsticks because I often find them too drying, so I was interested to see Glow Recipe put a softer spin on the matte lip trend with its new PDRN+ Tinted Soft Matte Lip Blur Balm.

The launch combines the blurred, soft-focus finish that has become popular in Korean beauty with the feel of a lip balm, which feels much more appealing to me than a traditional matte lipstick. I also like that the six shades are designed to give more of a blurred wash of colour rather than an intense, full-coverage lip.

The formula contains vegan PDRN and hyaluronic acid and is designed to hydrate the lips while creating a soft matte finish. I am also trying to be more mindful about the beauty products I buy, so the fact that the formula is vegan and cruelty-free is another reason this launch caught my attention.
