From Dyson's new hairdryer to Jones Road Beauty's first nail polishes, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Jones Road

The Nail Polish Kit, Jones Road Beauty

Bobbi Brown's Jones Road is steadily building out its make-up and skincare offer to cover all of the essential bases. The latest branch-out is into the category of nails and in keeping with the brand's pared-back, easy-to-use ethos, Brown has created a kit that encompasses the essentials for a perfect, classic manicure.

Included is a Poppy red and Ballerina sheer pink polish, as well as a two-in-one base and gloss top coat (Brown loves a multifunctional product), which promises to provide a glossy finish that should last between five and seven days. Finally, a nail file is included for shaping.

Speaking of what inspired the launch, Brown said: "Back in the '90s I was at a photoshoot. In walks a supermodel in the most casual outfit, barely any make-up, hair pulled back and bright red, short nails. Every person turned their gaze in awe. The next day, everyone walked in with the same red nails — including me. I'll never forget how magnetic and impossibly chic it was." Priced at £44, the nail set is now available at Jones Road Beauty.

Fussy

Love Hearts Deodorant, Fussy

Ahead of Valentine's Day, natural deodorant brand Fussy has taken another trip to the sweet shop for its latest deodorant scent.

Having previously partnered with Parma Violets, the brand has now launched a collaboration with Love Hearts. Described as a sweet, nostalgic and whimsical blend that’s like a sweet sherbet disco right on your armpits, the new scent featuring strawberries, rose and caramel is encouraging consumers to show their armpits some love this Valentine's Day and beyond.

The Supersonic hairdryer for professionals, Dyson

Dyson keeps hitting the jackpot with its hair tools. From Airwraps to hair dryers, the electronics brand is consistently on wish lists. Now, during fashion month, the brand is capitalising on its ever-growing momentum with a new precision hair dryer - the Dyson Supersonic.

Yes, Dyson already makes a hairdryer. So what makes this one different? According to the brand, the Supersonic is "Smaller. Lighter. Fast drying. With no heat damage". It is not only light and small, but it is also the brand's most precise styling tool enabled by power-dense technologies – a new technology streamlined heater.

Fresh

Lunar New Year tea-based special editions, Fresh

Fresh is well known for harnessing the powers of tea and kombucha in its creations – the Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask has cult status and rightly so. It's fitting therefore that for Lunar New Year, otherwise known as Chinese New Year, it has made over some of its hero tea and kombucha products to celebrate.

The Black Tea Advanced Age Renewal Cream (£86) is a lightweight moisturiser to help firm skin and smooth the appearance of deep-set wrinkles. It’s powered by a retinol-adjacent technology, BT Matrix, that helps to support skin structure through the natural loss of collagen as we age and it now comes in a beautiful Lunar New Year livery, exclusive to Harrods. Also exclusive to Harrods is a special edition of its Tea Elixir Serum (£99), whose advanced formula is infused with exclusive APT Technology and antioxidants to support the skin’s bioenergetic systems and offer protection from environmental stressors.

Finally, the Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence (£108) has been given a Lunar New Year makeover and is available both at Fresh and at Harrods. Once you incorporate an essence step into your skincare regime, it's hard to drop it. And this formula is a delight and is powered by kombucha – fermented sweet black tea – that increases moisture and luminosity for a radiant, lustrous complexion.
