From Augustinus Bader's luxurious new Sunscreen SPF 50 to Clinique's glow-giving serum and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Cycle Care Gummies, WUKA

After years of not eating enough meat, I have an iron deficiency. Shock. Knowing that I'd need to up the ante with the help of supplements, I've tried a few on the market. But honestly, none have stuck. That was until I tried WUKA's latest launch - Cycle Care Gummies.

Although the brand is renowned for its period underwear, rather than its health offering, there's something about a female-founded and focused brand that puts my mind at ease when it comes to supplements. I can take WUKA's Cycle Care Gummies knowing that they contain the right concoction of goodness designed specifically for women's bodies and needs. After all,  the pioneering women’s health brand designed the supplements specifically to support the unique nutritional deficiencies and health needs of menstruating women and teens.

The naturally flavoured menstrual gummies are not only delicious but also packed with evidence-backed, bioavailable nutrients in just the right doses. There are three to choose from: ENERGY Support Iron Gummies (£19.99 x 60), IMMUNITY Support Vitamin D3+K2 Gummies (£19.99 x 60) and HORMONE Support PMS Gummies (£24.99 x 60).

Clinique

Active Glow Serum, Clinique

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of attending an insightful session with Clinique, where I had the chance to experience its innovative AI-powered skin analysis and discover all the exciting details about its latest launch.

The new Active Glow Serum (£44), a part of the brand’s Moisture Surge range, taps into the growing demand for radiant skin. Its lightweight, milky formula combines 5% lactic acid, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C to provide deep hydration while delivering an instant and lasting glow.

It also promises to brighten skin, improving skin texture, pore appearance and dry fine lines, while gently exfoliating dead skin cells and promoting skin's natural cell turnover.

As someone who’s in need of hydration and exfoliation, I’m excited to try this new launch. If it’s anything like the Moisture Surge gel-cream moisturiser, I’m in for a treat!

Kate Somerville

HydraKate Illuminating SPF 50+ Drops, Kate Somerville

They say Kate Somerville is Hollywood’s OG "Guru of Glow" and who am I to argue? The brand known for its famous Goat Milk Cleanser has released HydraKate Illuminating SPF 50+ Drops (£39), which is a clinical-grade 24.5% Non-Nano Zinc Oxide formula giving broad spectrum UVA & UVB protection while also giving that glow that you'd expect from Kate Somerville.

Infused with universal Sheer Mineral Pigments, it promises to seamlessly blend into the skin for an illuminating finish that helps diffuse imperfections and even out skin tone. It also has the added benefits of Ectoin, a natural amino acid derivative, also known as an "extremolyte," that protects microorganisms in extreme environments.

Augustinus Bader

The Sunscreen SPF 50, Augustinus Bader

It's SPF 50 week clearly! We've had the first sign of spring this week and so these various new launches are perfectly timed (though obviously we're all wearing SPF 50 all year around, aren't we?). For lovers of luxury skincare, happy news this week is that Augustinus Bader has added this new lightweight, broad-spectrum sunscreen to its line-up.

Not only does it provide the necessary protection from UVA and UVB rays, but it renews the skin at the same time preventing and reducing visible signs of ageing. It also evens out the skin's appearance and helps prevent the redness associated with sun exposure (my skin is red at the best of times so this is particularly welcome news).

The Sunscreen is powered by Bader's proprietary technology TFC8, or Trigger Factor Complex, which creates the optimal environment for skin cellular renewal. Meanwhile, microalgae extract helps restore and protect skin and cotton seed extract protects against photodamage and premature ageing. Also included in the formula are a Pomegranate Flower, Perilla Leaf and Kakadu Plum Complex, an antioxidant-rich botanical complex that defends against sun-induced skin damage and stress. Raspberry Seed Oil, for superior antioxidants and photoprotective benefits, and Buriti Oil, containing high levels of protective Carotene, complete the formula.

It's priced at £105 (cheaper if you subscribe) but this is Augustinus Bader and this is the Rolls Royce of SPFs.

Gun Ana

Multiguard SPF50 Stick, Gun Ana

Continuing with my SPF obsession, suncare brand Gun Ana has today released the Multiguard SPF50 Stick (£30), making it super easy to apply and carry around the city (or beach) and reapply when needed. It's a lightweight formula with broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

My biggest pet peeve with SPFs is that they can be greasy, but Gun Ana's blend of shea butter, coconut oil, and cocoa butter ensures a smooth, non-greasy application while still deeply conditioning the skin. It's made with oat oil, wheat germ oil, and rosehip oil to boost hydration + support your skin’s health with antioxidants.

Co-founders Kajsa Regnér and Sigrid Osvald are on a mission to unify the skincare and sun protection space... all year round.  The name refers to the ancient sun goddess, whose rays were seen as the link between the sun, earth and planet. The brand fuses good-for-skin botanical blends with high UV and HEV-light protection, to create multifunctional, easy-to-use SPFs
