Adelphi Sun Eau de Parfum, LBTY

Adelphi Sun Eau de Parfum is the latest scent from LBTY, the fragrance collection from the iconic London department store, Liberty.

Not only is the scent perfect for those balmy summer evenings, but, as with all LBTY fragrance bottles, it also comes in a unique Liberty-designed bottle, this time adorned with a hand-drawn paisley rainforest alive with sweeping palms, delicate fern fronds and abundant foliage. Master perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani brings the print to life through scent in this latest release.

"A radiant burst of sparkling citrus opens the fragrance with effortless freshness, while verdant green notes recreate the lush richness of tropical leaves. At its heart, a drizzle of honeyed floral nectar lends a soft, sunlit sweetness, weaving warmth and natural elegance into every layer," said Merati-Kashani.

Dew-Glow Moisturizer Mineral SPF 50, Naturium

The importance of applying daily SPF has been top of mind for me this week, following the British Beauty Council's announcement that it is launching a cross-industry UV Safety Coalition to implement recommendations from a parliamentary report aimed at tackling UV-related harm, including skin cancer, in the UK.

With heatwaves becoming more common every summer, it's high time to choose your SPF champion and stick with it, as daily use is essential.

Naturium's new Dew-Glow Moisturiser Mineral makes a great contender. For starters, it's SPF 50 and suitable for combination skin, which is perfect for me. If you're thinking that SPF 50 sounds like a lot, remember that there isn't such a massive gap between SPF 30 and SPF 50. But choosing higher protection means you get a bit of a buffer in terms of under-applying sunscreen, and it means you don't need to reapply as frequently (and let's be honest, how often do you really reapply your face sunscreen throughout the day?). So it's always better to go with SPF 50, in my opinion.

What I like about Naturium in particular is its lightweight texture and the fact that it leaves a non-heavy finish. It's also enriched with niacinamide and 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, so it not only protects the skin but also helps improve uneven skin tone, boosts brightness, and provides antioxidant protection against environmental stressors.

Lipglazer Glossy Liner, MAC Cosmetics

I have recently become obsessed with brown lip liner, which has quickly become a staple in my makeup routine, so MAC’s new Lipglazer Glossy Liner shades immediately caught my attention. In particular, M·A·Chiato and Chestnut stood out to me, as they are the kind of versatile shades that work with almost any everyday lip combination.

Rather than a traditional matte liner, Lipglazer's glossy formula delivers definition with a softer, more hydrated finish, which I find easier and more comfortable to apply. It is easy to see why neutral brown lip tones continue to be so popular, as they are flattering, versatile and work with so many different makeup looks, whether for everyday wear or a night out.
