Editors' Picks: New launches from Laneige, Merit, Neal's Yard Remedies and more...
Here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.
Wild Rose Beauty Balm Vegan, Neal's Yard Remedies
British brand Neal’s Yard Remedies is celebrating 20 years of its Wild Rose Beauty Balm with a special relaunch. The bestselling product returns with a fresh design and an updated formula featuring 100% plant-based ingredients.
Rest assured, the balm still delivers the same beloved, multi-purpose benefits as the bestselling original - now enhanced with even stronger sustainability credentials.
Designed to combat dryness and dullness, this multi-tasking marvel boosts radiance, hydration, and leaves skin feeling softer. It works as a cleansing balm, overnight treatment, cuticle softener, hair and brow tamer, and even a cheekbone highlighter. Now that’s versatility at its finest.
Crafted with a blend of seven organic plant oils, butters, and waxes, this nourishing formula deeply cleanses, supports the skin barrier, and leaves your complexion silky-smooth and radiant - no matter how you choose to use it.

Couture Body Cover, Bare by Vogue
It's the final stretch before my summer holiday to Greece, and in my typically over-organised fashion, I've begun the product reckoning. The latest addition to make the cut in my jam-packed cosmetics pouch is Bare by Vogue's Couture Body Cover (£19). Launched last month, the body makeup has been a lifesaver on those fluke warm summer days when my legs need a little TLC. With a swish of Vogue Williams' body makeup, my legs are instantly transformed into a flawless canvas - who needs Instagram's Paris filter?
Whether you’re slipping into an evening gown, showing off some skin on the beach, or sprucing up for a night out, Couture Body Cover is my newfound secret weapon.
Infused with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid, chamomile and oat extracts, it not only delivers a flawless finish but also leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and deeply hydrated. At the heart of Couture Body Cover lies its blurring, lightweight formulation, which not only offers an instant sun-kissed tint but also evens out skin tone for a seamless, airbrushed finish.

Maple Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum, Laneige
Like many, I'm a fan of Laniege - from its bestselling Lip Sleeping Masks to its hydrating Water Bank cleanser and creams - so I’m always excited to discover the K-beauty brand’s latest launches. This time, it’s the newest, exclusive flavour in the Glaze Craze Tinted Lip Serum line-up.
Aptly named Maple Glaze, this new product is described as 'buttery, warm, and cozy in all the right ways' - what’s not to love? Even better, it boasts a high-shine, non-sticky texture, with a soft tint and a delicious maple scent.
It also promises "deep hydration" - a Laneige specialty - leaving lips visibly plumper with maximum shine. I'm sold.

The Uniform Tinted Mineral SPF 50, Merit
Yesterday, Merit released its biggest launch of the year - The Uniform Tinted Mineral SPF 50 (£34). I was lucky enough to get my hands on the formulation last week and have been using it every day since. And suddenly, the name 'The Uniform' makes sense - I see what they did there.
This marks the cosmetics brand's second-ever complexion product (following the Minimalist Complexion stick that launched four years ago) and is its first-ever SPF product. Designed for effortless, everyday wear, The Uniform is a tinted mineral sunscreen available in 15 shades. It offers light to medium coverage with a natural, skin-like finish. Plus, it's an SPF that's non-comedogenic - a big tick from me!
Unlike chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV rays and convert them into heat, this formula is mineral-based - a huge trend right now. Using ultra-fine zinc oxide, a 100% naturally sourced active ingredient, it provides uniform protection against both UVA and UVB rays. What makes it unique is its proprietary pigment dispersion technology, which optimises how zinc oxide and titanium dioxide blend within the formulation. This allows for an even pigment load across all 15 shades, ensuring a natural, skin-like finish without leaving a white cast, often a challenge for mineral sunscreens with wide shade ranges.
