Hydra-Prep Setting Spray, Kay Beauty

Once summer finally chooses to grace us with its presence here in the UK, I am excited to try the new Kay Beauty Hydra-Prep Setting Spray. It's designed to lock makeup in place while keeping skin looking fresh, hydrated and radiant all day long – and, as someone who doesn't like to constantly check on their make-up, that is very appealing.

Its formula promises to be a lightweight, breathable mist that creates an invisible veil over makeup to help prevent smudging, transfer and sweat-induced streaking, while helping to keep the skin calm and hydrated.

I have quite a few weddings this season and this spray seems perfect for the kind of days that start in the sun and end in a crowded dance tent.

Fancy another one? This week brings not one, but two new SPF arrivals - and my second pick is the latest UV365 Protection Ageing Defence SPF from The Organic Pharmacy.

Available in both SPF 30 and SPF 50, this mineral sunscreen is designed to deliver advanced daily protection against UVA, UVB rays and blue light.

Formulated with hyaluronic acid and a blend of antioxidants, it goes beyond sun protection to help hydrate the skin while defending against environmental stressors and premature ageing.

Lip Balm Petal Phone Pods, DAISE

How cute are these? Gen Z beauty brand DAISE has unveiled these lip balm pods to stick to your phone for peptide-infused hydration on the go and, in the case of my teen anyway, a chance to flex to your friends.

It's a great beauty/accessory cross-over product and has been designed with social media virality in mind as much as anything else. And, indeed, this pretty little pod is already a social media sensation following the US launch.

The UK launch includes an initial drop at Boots in the Watermelon Crush and Coconut Breeze varieties, which are perfect for summer (when it arrives). Strawberry Kiss and Very Vanilla are coming soon. They are £6.99 each, so buy them all, why not?

I'm a big fan of DAISE (it's just genius!) and I'm glad I have a teen, which allows me to buy it. Am eyeing these as perfect party bag favours for the next birthday too.
