Here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Home fragrances, KŌDŌ

It’s no secret I love a home fragrance - and if it comes in a gourmand scent, all the better.

Interior designer, fragrance and nutrition expert Yasmin Khalil brings us KŌDŌ, a collection of room sprays in rich, warm, gourmand notes, from chocolate and coffee to honey and matcha, challenging the idea that “clean” has to mean essential oils.

KŌDŌ “sits at the intersection of fragrance, food and wellness” and aims to make scenting your space part of your daily routine - not just something you do before guests arrive. Each fragrance is designed to bring a sense of warmth and comfort into the home, using formulas free from phthalates, parabens and preservatives.

In May, the brand is collaborating with cult London bakery Reemie’s Cakes, centred around a previously sold-out scent inspired by their much-loved chocolate banana bites.

Available from Kodolondon.com and Healf.com, priced at £34 for 30ml.

Laura Mercier

Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra Blur Mint, Laura Mercier

Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder has long been a cult favourite - and for good reason. I've been loyal to it for years, so I was interested to learn the range is expanding with an exciting new addition: the Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra Blur Mint (£44).

This mint-green shade is designed to visibly reduce redness while keeping skin looking smooth and fresh. Alongside its colour-correcting benefits, it promises to hydrate, blur and lock makeup in place for up to 16 hours.

So what’s behind the effect? A blend of amino acids and silica powders works to soften the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections, while a hyaluronic acid-infused formula helps keep skin feeling comfortable and hydrated throughout the day.

But that’s not the only new launch.

The brand has also introduced the Secret Brightening Powder (£31), a "lighter-than-air" setting powder designed to instantly set makeup, smooth the under-eye area and extend concealer wear.

Both now available at Space NK.

Smoothing AHA Face & Body Scrub, Alpha-H

I have always been a big fan of Alpha-H. As someone who battled teen acne - just like the brand's founder, Michelle Doherty  - I have always appreciated the brand's approach to skincare, which puts exfoliation front and centre. I went through many cleansing products, and they always stripped my skin and left it feeling tight and devoid of moisture. Alpha-H's products do the opposite and have always left my skin feeling loved.

With any other brand, I would shy away from products that use acids - Alpha-H is one of the only brands that I trust to formulate their products in such a way that my very sensitive skin feels wonderful, not stressed.

That's why I'm so excited it has now released a new face and body scrub, developed with bamboo stem particles to act as a gentle physical exfoliator. It is also packed with the chemical exfoliant glycolic acid, caffeine, and macadamia seed oil for dual-action smoothing.

While I will use it to manage my winter-deprived skin and ready it for the summer months, it also prepares skin ahead of applying fake tan, which I will definitely keep in mind.

The body scrub is now available for £31.99.

Hand & Body Wash and Hand & Body Lotion, Wildsmith Skin

I was introduced to Wildsmith Skin a couple of years ago when I had the most incredible massage at their treatment room at Liberty. That treatment got me hooked on their products, especially their hand and body collection.

The brand has released a hand & body wash and hand & body lotion in a new scent inspired by the walled garden at the home of the brand, Heckfield Estate. Fragranced with a blend of magnolia, English rose and cedarwood essential oils, this elegant botanical pairing captures the gentle abundance of flower-filled borders in midsummer bloom.

Formulated with a gentle, naturally derived anionic (negatively charged) cleansing agent, it creates a rich and creamy texture, while mild surfactants derived from coconut oil and sugar gently cleanse the skin.

Infused with shea butter to deeply moisturise and condition and antioxidant-rich grapeseed oil to protect the skin, locking in moisture. Coconut oil bolsters the skin barrier, reducing trans epidermal water loss, while aloe vera soothes and conditions, leaving skin supple and hydrated.

The Hand and Body Wash (300ml, RRP £35) and the Hand and Body Lotion (300ml, RRP £38) are available from Liberty and Wildsmithskin.com.

Tidal Deep Hydration + Plumping Serum, Sunday Riley

Deep hydration? I’m all in.

In fact, hydration has become my top skincare priority. So, the moment I heard about this new launch, I was instantly intrigued.

The Tidal Deep Hydration + Plumping Serum (£70) is powered by five types of hyaluronic acid, alongside polyglutamic acid - a "next-level" hydrator known to hold up to four times more moisture than hyaluronic acid. In other words, it’s designed to deliver serious, long-lasting hydration.

And it doesn’t stop there. The formula also features a vegan mucin derived from lotus root - one of this year’s most talked-about ingredients - for a smooth, radiant glow.

Now available at Space NK, Cult Beauty, Sephora and Liberty.
