Here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Secret Camouflage Complexion Perfector, Laura Mercier

This week, one of Laura Mercier’s most iconic complexion products is officially back - and it’s been thoughtfully reimagined.

The cosmetics brand has relaunched its cult favourite Secret Camouflage Complexion Perfector, a modern update of the makeup-artist staple that has long been trusted to conceal imperfections while still maintaining a natural, skin-like finish.

Now available in three adaptable shades designed to blend into the skin, the waterproof, full-coverage formula works to neutralise blemishes, redness, pigmentation, scars and discolouration. What's more, it delivers a soft matte finish that claims up to 16 hours of wear without fading, creasing or transferring.

Alongside its high-performance pigments, the formula includes skin-supporting ingredients such as vitamin C and E, plus chamomile extract to help soothe the skin and reduce the appearance of future discolouration. Now available for £29.

High Protection Body Milk SPF30, Gun Ana

We all know a daily facial SPF is non-negotiable, and now summer is finally arriving in the UK, it’s also time to crack out the SPF for the body.

I can’t stand thick, sticky lotions or oils, so Gun Ana High Protection Milk is a godsend. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid, oat oil and squalane, making it a deeply hydrating formula. It’s quite rare to find this level of hydration in a body SPF, especially at factor 30.

Key ingredients include:

  • Squalane and hyaluronic acid for lasting hydration.
  • Saccharomyces ferment complex to replenish moisture.
  • Oat, wheat germ, and rosehip oils for antioxidant nourishment.

The scent is lovely too - cucumber and mint, which is refreshing and unique. Now all I need is a trip to the beach, but until then, you’ll find me in the park, tanning responsibly of course.

The Gun Ana High Protection Body Milk SPF30 is available from Gunanaskincare.com for £26.

Silicone LED Neck Mask, Skinvity

Beauty tech innovator Skinvity has added to its LED range with a new device targeting the neck and décolleté. As the heatwave hits and we consider our lower necklines, this is a timely launch!

It features five clinically supported wavelengths - including antibacterial blue light and 1072nm, the deepest-penetrating wavelength available - which work to support skin firmness, elasticity and overall skin quality while targeting visible signs of ageing and fatigue.

The red light at 630nm helps stimulate collagen and elastin production, while infrared wavelengths including 830nm, 930nm and 1072nm work within the deeper layers of the skin to support regeneration and improve density. The silicon moulds gently to the skin too and it can be used in conjunction with one of its facial devices to ensure a nice even skin tone throughout.

Skinvity advises an initial 'shock therapy' treatment of one to three sessions in a day, three to five times a week for the first month or so. You can then settle into a maintenance mode of two to four sessions a week. Results become visible after eight weeks.

Available now at skinvity.com for £299.

Wild Rosehip Glow Cleansing Oil , Neal's Yard Remedies

Neal’s Yard Remedies is expanding its Wild Rosehip skincare range with two new products designed to simplify daily routines while delivering hydration and radiance.

The new Wild Rosehip Glow Cleansing Oil removes make-up, SPF and impurities, including waterproof mascara, while leaving skin feeling nourished.

The brand has also reformulated its bestselling Wild Rose Glow Day Cream, now renamed the Wild Rosehip Glow Cream, with added botanical ingredients including Kakadu plum and watermelon extract for enhanced hydration and glow.

Developed in the brand’s Dorset eco-factory, both products are clinically tested and formulated with organic, antioxidant-rich ingredients to support brighter, smoother-looking skin.

Bio Lifting Concealer, Chantecaille

I’m always on the lookout for a new concealer, and this new formula by the premium French beauty brand Chantecaille looks extremely promising.

My main reason for constantly exploring new options is that I have always struggled with a dry under-eye area, and I’ve previously used concealers that left my skin feeling crinkly and dried out.

I’m very interested, therefore, by Chantecaille’s promise that its new concealer will not only reduce the appearance of wrinkle depth by up to 41% (based on a clinical test with 44 women), but also improve under-eye skin texture, elasticity and hydration.

I love seeing skincare integrated into my make-up products, and in this case I’m intrigued by the product’s list of ingredients, which includes de-puffing Gentiana lutea extract and dark-circle-improving Persian silk tree extract. Combined with a smoothing, lifting peptide complex, the concealer promises a creamy, natural finish.

I’m also impressed by the extensive 21-shade range on offer, providing a genuinely inclusive spread of skin tone matches.

The concealer is now available for £56 on the brand’s website and exclusively at John Lewis.
