Editors' Picks: New launches from Milk Makeup, Shiseido, Farmacy and more...
From Shiseido's new primer to Farmacy's resurfacing acid serum, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.
Revitalessence Skin Glow Primer, Shiseido
Shiseido has launched a multitasking Revitalessence Skin Glow Primer following the success of its Revitalessence Skin Glow Foundation. Not only is the primer powered by a skincare-grade serum, but it also promises to protect skin from sun damage with an SPF of 25.
Launching 5 February and priced at £39, the primer promises to enrich skin with two potent prebiotics, fermented kefir+ and niacinamide, fueling its ability to keep a healthy microbiome and strengthen the skin's barrier for a "natural glow from within".
It can be used as both a primer to boost radiance underneath foundation or alone to add a weightless, dewy highlight to the skin.

Cooling Water Jelly Tint, Milk Makeup
A fun new launch from Milk Makeup, this long-lasting lip and cheek stain is said to offer a sheer, buildable burst of colour while cooling and refreshing skin with a range of hydrating ingredients.
Available in four shades - Poppy Pink, Chill Red, Spritz Coral, and Splash Berry - it's the playful, jelly-like texture that makes this bouncy lip and cheek tint stand out, capturing the attention of not only myself but also the wider beauty community ahead of its US launch on 6 February and UK launch on 18 March 2024.

Honey Glow 17% Resurfacing Acid Serum, Farmacy
It's one of my many contradictions. I don't particularly like eating honey but put it in a beauty product and I'm sold. Currently, there are three honey-based products on my desk and more in my bathroom, the newest of which is this Honey Glow 17% Resurfacing Acid Serum from Farmacy. It's also the third new night serum that I've encountered in recent weeks, suggesting a trend among skincare brands to capitalise on sleep. The others I've noted are from Fresh and Dr Haushka (see below).
This one is the latest addition to Farmacy's honey-based line-up, which also includes products such as the Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturiser (note to self: try this), the Clean Bee Cleanser (ditto), and the Honey Savoir Skin Repair Salve (ditto). This serum is the perfect accompaniment to the moisturiser but even without it's a dream to use.
Designed to be used at night, its powerful 17% acid blend contains glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, tartaric acid, and succinic acid to retexturise and smooth fine lines. All of this is topped off with hyaluronic acid and Farmacy’s "legendary" Buckwheat Honey Blend and it promises to deliver tangible results after five uses. Available now from Space NK for £56.

Chronos Styler, GHD
From the nostalgic pin-straight days of the noughties passed, to today's beachy curls, GHD has always provided the masses with must-have styling tools. Now, the brand has launched its latest beauty tech innovation - a new styler dubbed 'Chronos'. It features breakthrough HD motion-responsive technology, which provides high-quality performance as well as three times faster styling speed.
Described as its "most advanced styler to date", the GHD Chronos delivers one-stroke styling for fast curls, waves or straight looks. The Chronos comes with built-in HD motion-responsive technology, which uses an intelligent algorithm to identify how the tool is being handled. The tool then reacts to styling motions delivering the right amount of power into the plates to maintain the optimum temperature of 185°C.

Dr. Hauschka, Regenerating Intensive Eye Serum and Regenerating Intensive Night Serum
A pair of new launches have just landed from Dr Hauschka, including yet another Night Serum (see above from Farmacy). This Regenerating Intensive Night Serum (£69) is designed specifically to address the needs of mature skin (that'll be me then) and has been a joy to use on my mature, winter-fatigued skin. It promises to combat dryness and sensitivity overnight but the moment you put it on, it delivers a refreshing hit of goodness and you practically hear your skin thanking you.
The luxurious formula contains premium olive and dandelion extracts to leave skin noticeably firmer and hydrated, all while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and promoting the skin's natural regenerating processes.
For specific eye care, the new Regenerating Intensive Eye Serum (£65) is a great add-on and is described as the perfect solution "for those experiencing dullness and loss of vitality in their under eye area" (that'll also be me then). Its formula is rich but is immediately absorbed and promises to leave skin around the eyes "firm and visibly radiant, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles". Key ingredients include sea buckthorn and poppyseed oil, and once again this product promotes the skin's natural regenerating processes.
