From Dolce & Gabbana's makeup brushes to Ruby Hammer's glass nail file, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

All-Day Skin Fit Milk Glow Cushion, Milk Touch

In recent months, Korean cushion foundations have garnered global popularity thanks to their lightweight texture, buildable coverage and natural finish. I’m sure you’ve seen the viral cushion foundations made famous by Tir Tir. Now, fellow Korean beauty brand Milk Touch has brought its first cushion foundations to the UK.

After getting my hands on Milk Touch’s highly pigmented eyeshadows on my travels to Japan, I became an instant fan of the brand. But I had yet to try its complexion products until I got my hands on the All-Day Skin Fit Milk Glow Cushion (£22.90). Stocked by Pureseoul here in the UK, the new launch is available in 20 shades, aligning with the brand’s mission to make K-beauty more inclusive.

The pore-blurring foundation is packed with 60% moisturising essence, meaning its radiance will last as long as the product promises to (24 hours). Plus, it offers UVA and UBA protection - what more could you want?

Beauty Brushes, Dolce & Gabbana

It's only fitting that today is Valentine's Day as I've fallen in love with Dolce & Gabbana's new makeup brushes.

Featuring ultra-soft black vegan bristles to ensure optimal colour release and gold aluminium handles inspired by the luxury brand's signature style, these brushes promise exceptional performance - and I would expect nothing less from a collection priced between £33 and £46!

There's ten brushes for foundation, bronzer, powder, blush, eyeshadow, lips, eyebrows, and more. I'm particularly drawn to the concealer brush, which promises to cover blemishes, dark circles, and uneven areas for a smooth, polished look, as well as the eyeshadow shader for precise colour placement in the crease and/or along the lash line.

The collection is now available in selected Dolce & Gabbana boutiques, as well as online at the luxury brand.

Ruby Hammer

Glass Nail File - Neon Pink, Ruby Hammer

My nails are a mess at the moment (too many gel manicures) and are being "rested". They need constant attention, so I never leave the house without a glass nail file tucked away in my bag. Since I switched to glass (and Ruby Hammer's was the first one I tried but I also have a nice one by Leighton Denny), I can't go back to the standard issue black emery boards you can buy in bulk from Boots.

Ruby Hammer's original glass file came in Ruby Red in honour of her name but she's now released it in Neon Pink to cheer up our makeup bags and our nails. Glass files, including this one, effectively seal the ends of the nail to prevent peeling and splitting. I'm using mine on naked nails at the moment, but it is also good for emergency fixes when you have gel painted nails to prevent chips from spreading (at least that's what I do!). You can clean it easily with a rinse under running water. I like to think of this as a sustainable product too, as it lasts and lasts.

Available now for £18 at www.rubyhammer.com

Beija Flor Elasti-Body Oil, Sol de Janeiro

I’m a sucker for a body oil. As a teenager whose mother's go to was a big tub of E45, I found the concept confusing: it seemed overly fussy and just plain unnecessary. You don’t imagine you’ll ever enjoy a glass of red wine when you watch your parents during childhood Christmasses, however, you will eventually enjoy a bottle.

Now I see body oil as special occasion moisturiser for real adults. And what’s more of an adult-y special occasion than Valentine’s Day?

Just in time, Sol de Janeiro has launched its new Beija Flor Elasti-Body Oil. The floral-scented, anti-ageing formula is moisturising and non-greasy and leaves you with visibly plumper, bouncy, smoother-looking skin. Partner or not, I know what I want my skin to look like this Valentine’s.

She's vegan. She's cruelty-free. She's suitable for all skin types. And she's available in Selfridges now for £52.

CeraVe

Intensive Moisturising Lotion, CeraVe

When it comes to intensive moisturisers, often I find that the preferred format is a rich and thick cream, which I do quite like at night. In the day, especially when I'm layering all sorts of other things like SPF, primers, and so forth, I still want the intensive moisture but in a lighter format.

CeraVe (always dependable) is able to deliver lasting moisture to parched skin by using MultiVesicular Emulsion (MVE) Technology – a unique multi-layer delivery system, which encapsulates moisturising ingredients and gradually releases them over time. As well as delivering hydration, active ingredients, like ceramides and hyaluronic acid, are effectively absorbed too.

In addition it contains a new natural moisturising factor technology, 5% hydro urea that combines urea with amino acids and sodium PCA to help restore the skin’s own ability to retain moisture and relieve dry skin symptoms like itchiness, flaking and rough skin. This makes it ideal for individuals with very dry to severely dry skin, including those with conditions such as eczema or psoriasis (which I do suffer from intermittently). It is also well-suited skin of colour, which is more prone to severe dryness.

It's a new hero, basically, and it's available at Boots now for £22.
