Editors' Picks: New launches from Omnilux, Melior, Tan-Luxe and more...
From Tan-Luxe's self-tan mist to Aesop's facial tonic, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.
Immaculate Facial Tonic, Aesop
Aesop has launched its first new skincare product in two years. If that doesn't capture your attention, I don't know what will.
Though often overlooked and undervalued, the brand highlights that toning is an essential step in any well-considered skincare regimen, and more than a mere bridge between cleansing and hydrating.
Placing toning back at the centre of skincare, its new Immaculate Facial Tonic (£39) is said to not only prepare the skin for further hydration but also provide vitamin-enriched replenishment and gentle chemical exfoliation, helping to clarify and balance the skin - evening its appearance and refining its texture over time.
The tonic blends the gentle exfoliating properties of mucor miehei extract with hydrating panthenol, niacinamide, saccharide, isomerate and galactoarabinan to balance, soften and support the skin. It also boasts rose petal, sandalwood and frankincense essential oils renowned for their soothing and hydrating properties - these also provide a floral, woody and resinous aroma. Sounds good to me!

Verde Botanica and Geranium & Rosemary Powder-to-Gel Handwash Refills, Melior
To mark Earth Day at the start of this week, pioneering zero-waste social enterprise Melior unveiled two new fragrances to add to its award-winning powder-to-gel hand wash range. They are Verde Botanical and Geranium & Rosemary and both are inspired by the raw beauty of the natural world.
Typically the brand's hand wash comes in a glass bottle with a refill available for replenishing, but these new fragrances are available in refill only, so customers can refill an existing Melior bottle (and they are very nice bottles!) or use their own.
When users are ready to refill their hand wash, they simply clean their preferred vessel, add the powder, mix with 400ml of warm water, give it a swirl, and create their new batch of hand wash. Because it doesn't contain liquid, the refill pouch are 100% plastic-free, compostable and biodegradable.
It's genius and it's only £8.95 for a refill.

The Future, Tan-Luxe
If there’s one tan of the early to mid aughts that we all look up to, it’s Paris Hilton’s. Her mini skirt and slogan singlet combo was never complete without flawless bronzed limbs. So the pastier among us can rest easy in the knowledge that she has collaborated with Tan-Luxe to curate a limited-edition mist, which promises to deliver a professional-looking, streak-free spray tan from home.
The ultra-lightweight self-tan mist develops over two hours to create a deep bronze glow and uses Tan-Luxe’s new Triple Tan+ technology which penetrates deeper, develops faster, and lasts longer than more traditional formulas. Peptides support collagen production and promote skin elasticity too, as well as keeping skin hydrated – so there’s no before or after dilemma with your moisturiser, either. Priced at £39, The Future is available now available at Space NK, as well as online retailers Lookfantastic and Cult Beauty.

Perfumes by Binaurale
I don’t know about you, but when it comes to my signature scent, I like an element of exclusivity. So long are the days of rat packing Alien by Thierry Mugler, Mademoiselle by Chanel, or dare I say Lynx Africa (am I giving away my age?).
Fresh off its lauded debut in December 2023, Binaurale has landed in the UK exclusively at Goodhood. This edgy perfumery was founded by Arielle Elfassy and Jack Roizental to evoke "individuality and expression", whether that be through its scents Happy Hardcore, Incident Light, Supersolid or Petal Jus.
The bottles, like the scents, aren't to be overlooked. The vision? A playful pop culture feel of noughties fashion, reinterpreted for the fragrance world of today.

Antioxidant Eye Cream, Omnilux
Fashion has been dominated by the quiet luxury trend of late and beauty has also gotten in on the act. Just as quiet luxury in fashion pairs low-key looks with high-quality materials, quiet beauty products embrace minimalism and combine it with premium ingredients and scientific validation.
Epitomising this approach is the skincare line from Omnilux, which is perhaps best known for its LED light beauty tech products. The brand has just added a new Antioxidant Eye Cream to its range, which harnesses the power of green tea leaf for its anti-inflammatory properties, avocado oil for deep moisturisation, and apricot kernel oil for hydration and brightness.
It promises to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, reduce puffiness, brighten the undereye area, and lock in essential moisture. It can be used after an LED light treatment to enhance the benefits. Available now, priced at £37.
