Editors' Picks: New launches from Phlur, Mella, Rituals and more...
Here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Rose Whip Deodorant, Phlur
I'm a Phlur Vanilla Skin addict. I have the body oil and the body spray and I use them together often, sometimes paired with other scents to add a delightful sweet base. I am not a Johnny-come-lately vanilla fan and haven't jumped on the latest fragrance trend; I have been obsessed since I was a teen (and that was a very long time ago). The other scent I return to time and again is rose.
I was therefore delighted to find that Phlur has a rose scent, Rose Whip, and it's just brought out a deodorant to add to the franchise. This is a natural deodorant that protects against odour for 48 hours, which is unnecessarily long, since, who isn't washing within 48 hours? But I admire the staying power nonetheless.
It contains salicylic acid, which neutralises odour-causing bacteria while also providing some gentle underarm exfoliation. If you have underarm discoloration, it will tackle that too. Arrowroot powder and zinc ricinoleate absorb odour without irritation, while algae and tamanu oil moisturise the skin. Potential irritants in the form of baking soda and aluminium have been banished.
The best bit, of course, is the fragrance. I may have to invest in some other Rose Whip products to go with this. It's a fruity rose with blackcurrant and pink pepper heart notes and a base of cashmere wood and amber. Did I mention I'm also obsessed with amber...?
While you can buy the Rose Whip fragrance in all the usual Phlur stockists, this deodorant stick is available online only at Space NK, priced at £20 (50g).

Mella 1809 Rue du Dragon Candle
Luxury homecare brand Mella 1809 has expanded its range of cleaning products to add some exquisite home fragrance options, including candles and diffusers.
The mineral wax candle, named after Rue du Dragon - a street with a long-storied history with artists and artisans in one of the most charming parts of Paris - is hand-poured in the UK and is in line with the brand's design-led philosophy, extending scent rituals that linger across your home.
Now that spring feels like it's just around the corner, this scent, with notes of juicy mandarin, petitgrain and citron peel, complemented by orange blossom, clean water lily and warm musk, is the perfect accompaniment to a lazy weekend at home.

100ml Safran Secret & Cuir Infrarouge, Maison Crivelli
It seems that the team and I have put together a nice little fragrance haul this week featuring our scent-based picks. While mine isn’t exactly a new launch, it comes in a new, larger bottle - which, for fans of the brand, will be a welcome addition.
The two fragrances, Safran Secret and Cuir Infrarouge, launched in 2025 but are now available in a larger 100 ml bottle - allowing the scents to be experienced for longer and making them more suitable for gifting.
Each perfume comes in a sleek, lacquered bottle with a monogrammed cap and is packaged in a hand-assembled matte box.
The brand has also introduced a new 190 g scented candle format for these fragrances. Housed in a lacquered glass vessel reflecting the perfume bottles, the candles release their scents gradually, filling a space with both light and fragrance.
Now available online at Maison Crivelli.

The Ritual of Seshen Scented Candle, Rituals
I think it's the rainy, gloomy atmosphere of February that is making my colleagues and I crave self-care in the form of beautiful scents. Yet my choice this week comes with a twist.
The Ritual of Seshen Scented Candle by Rituals is inspired by Seshen - the lotus flower that blooms at dawn from the mud. The ancient Egyptians saw it as a symbol of fresh starts and natural beauty.
But you don’t just light the candle; you place it in a glass jar filled with water. Only then do you place the lotus candle on the water’s surface - and light it. This little wellness ritual is meant to evoke the calm, radiant banks of the Nile.
The fragrance features crisp aquatics, delicate lotus, and zesty citrus notes - exactly what I need as we head into the warmer, sunnier days of March.
