Here are some of this week’s news and features highlights handpicked by TheIndustry.beauty team.

Four-piece collaboration with Rick Owens, Selahatin

Artisanal oral-care brand Selahatin has released a four-piece collaboration with American fashion designer Rick Owens.

For the collection, Selahatin founder Vural created a custom aroma inspired by Rick Owens’ aesthetic - "monochrome, architectural, and quietly magnetic". The fragrance features top notes of verbena, Madagascar vanilla, and Sichuan pepper; heart notes of juniper, dark citrus, and rosemary; and base notes of black pepper and peppermint. Each note is designed to contrast its counterpart, creating a balanced, layered scent.

The travel set includes a whitening toothpaste, mouthwash, Eau d’Extrait Oral - a renewing mouth spray "crafted like perfume for the mouth"  - and a handmade horn toothbrush, which is biodegradable, durable, and made without synthetic chemicals. Now available online at Selahatin for €180.

CitySet Lightweight Setting Spray, Saie

I’ve been a Saie fan ever since I first tried the brand’s Glowy Super Gel - still one of the best 'your skin but better' glow products in my routine. So when Saie launched its new CitySet Lightweight Setting Spray (£30 for 95ml), I was immediately curious to see whether it lived up to the brand’s reputation for clean beauty that performs against permanent fixtures in my makeup bag. I’m happy to report: it certainly does.

The ultra-fine, non-aerosol mist melts over skin in a barely-there veil - yet somehow grips makeup so well it doesn’t budge for up to 16 hours. Instead of leaving skin tight, tacky or over-matted (my usual setting spray complaints), it delivers that signature natural-dewy Saie finish, thanks to hydrating humectants like Propendial and Glycogen.

There’s also a thoughtful skincare element woven in. Mandarin Orange Extract helps soothe and support the skin barrier against classic city aggressors such as pollution, UV and general stress, so it doubles as a light environmental shield. It’s alcohol-free, non-comedogenic and dermatologist-tested, making it suitable for sensitive or blemish-prone skin.

Founder Laney Crowell sums it up: "I often leave my house in the morning and go straight from meetings to dinner. I’ve been looking for a clean setting spray that really works and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tacky or make me break out… CitySet Setting Spray is a new category maker."
