Saltair

Vitamin C Body Brightener Glow Complex Body Serum, Saltair

Everything Saltair releases is a winner! From its epic body washes and lotions to its skincare deodorants (yes, they treat your underarms due to the mandelic acid formulation, as well as keeping you smelling fragrant and fresh).

I personally didn't think they could top the hyaluronic acid body serum that they released earlier this year, but now they're back with a vitamin C body serum designed to "boost glow, brighten tone and revive dull-looking skin from head to toe".

These body serums are designed to go under body lotion or be used on their own. I use them when I want moisture without the 'slip and slide' of a body cream, before the gym, for example. This serum is fast-absorbing and gives your skin an instant glow.

Key ingredients include:

  • Glow Complex - a dual vitamin C blend featuring L-Ascorbic Acid and 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid to visibly brighten skin tone, enhance natural luminosity and support healthier-looking skin.
  • Australian Kakadu Plum - an antioxidant-rich superfruit naturally high in vitamin C, helping to defend against environmental stressors while boosting skin radiance.
  • Glycerin - a moisture-binding humectant that helps improve hydration levels, leaving skin feeling soft, hydrated and nourished.

Priced at £25, the new is available exclusively at Space NK, online and in-store.

Lip + Fill, Milk Makeup

A decade after launching, the New York-based cosmetics brand Milk Makeup is reinventing itself. Not only is it relaunching its hero Sticks collection (which I'm really excited about), but it's also introducing a new product called the Lip + Fill, which it calls a new innovation that combines the precision of a liner with the smooth colour saturation of a lipstick. I'm so glad to see that Milk has not changed its core philosophy in this reinvention, but instead is staying true to what made the brand great.

What I associate with Milk is glowing skin and sparkles, lots of colour and fun - I think a Milk Makeup girl is an edgy New Yorker who applies her make-up on the fly, she just swoops into the tube, dabs some makeup in with her fingers and dashes off again, looking effortlessly cool and beautiful in less than 30 seconds. Instead of changing this image, the brand's latest evolution focuses on making its core range even better, with improved formulations and packaging, while also introducing all-new products such as the Lip + Fill.

"Engineered to do it all", the new liner/lipstick hybrid is meant to provide shape, shade and definition for lips, with a staying power of eight hours, according to the brand. As someone who liberally uses lip liner to fill in the entirety of the lip before I apply my lipstick (I have seen this trick somewhere on social media and have unquestionably been using it ever since), this seems like a really great idea that I'd love to try out. I also love the colour selection, with the shade 'Valid' sticking out to me in particular.

Milk Makeup is available in the UK at retailers including SpaceNK, Boots and Sephora.

Luxury Scented Candle Collection, Beauty Pie x Reena Simon

If you haven't tried Beauty Pie's candles, let this new collection be the gateway to your new obsession. The brand has collaborated with interiors and intentional living expert Reena Simon for three luxury scented candles. Not only are the scents exquisite, but they're housed in beautifully understated three-wick, 350g matte ceramic vessels.

The collection comes in three scents:

  • Rêves d'Èze: An uplifting morning candle with mint and eucalyptus, softened by green, outdoorsy tea leaves and green basil.
  • Time Well Spent: A quiet, warming afternoon scent, softly spiced with cardamom and clove leaf, resting on an elegant heart of violet.
  • Midnight Cashmere: A chic, cosy evening scent with gently smoky top notes, softening into cashmere, hazelnut cream and amber.

“This felt like a natural partnership with Beauty Pie, whose approach to elevating the everyday aligns so closely with my own. Together, we wanted every detail - from the bespoke fragrance compositions to the sculptural ceramic vessels - to feel purposeful, with each scent reflecting the mood of its time of day and offering a simple invitation to pause, reset and simply exhale," said Simon.

Available at beautypie.com, non-member price: £65, members price: £39

Multi-Quench Hydration Mist, Prequel

Following its UK debut at Space NK, Prequel is expanding its UK line-up with another high-performance, solution-focused launch: Multi-Quench Hydration Mist.

I’ve been loving a mist recently - I mean, who wouldn’t in a heatwave? Even better is putting them in the fridge for a cool spritz throughout the day. Now, adding to my wish list is Prequel’s Multi-Quench Hydration Mist.

More than just a face mist, the humectant-rich formula delivers a weightless veil of moisture to instantly refresh and hydrate, while supporting the skin barrier for a plumper, smoother and more radiant complexion.

Powered by dual-weight polyglutamic acid, glycerin, osmolytes, niacinamide, babassu esters and aloe, the lightweight formula helps replenish moisture, soothe and support healthy-looking skin. It can be applied over or under makeup for an on-the-go refresh.

Available exclusively at Space NK online and in-store for £20.

Creatine Monohydrate, Hermosa

I take a protein shake each day and include many add-ins, including creatine. Creatine can be taken daily to increase muscle strength, boost high-intensity exercise performance, speed up muscle recovery, and support brain health.

One of my favourite wellness brands, Hermosa, founded by Erika Tamayo, has expanded its range of whey and vegan protein powders by introducing creatine. Made from pure creatine monohydrate, the unflavoured powder contains no flavourings, fillers or additional ingredients and is allergen-free. The product has been micronised into finer particles to help it mix more easily and can be added to water, smoothies or protein shakes without changing the taste or leaving any residue.

Erika developed her protein range for Barry’s when the fitness brand opened its first UK studio in London, and had one mission - to create high-quality protein products that prioritise both nutrition and taste.

This launch follows the recent appointment of nutritional therapist, author and health writer Eve Kalinik as HERMOSA’s consultant nutritionist. Kalinik is working across product development, nutritional strategy and educational content.

HERMOSA Pure Micronised Creatine Monohydrate Powder is available online at HERMOSA in a 300g pouch, containing 60 x 5g servings, priced at £26.

Smart Eye Density, Dermalogica

I have to say, I'm not very good at remembering to use an eye cream. I always try, but that effort lasts about a week before I inevitably give up in favour of one less step in my routine. That said, I'm all about spotlighting interesting new launches - and I hope to use this one until there's not a drop left in the bottle!

Dermalogica's Smart Eye Density is described as a biointelligent serum that targets hollow under-eyes and thin skin to visibly rebuild density over time. The formula uses a growth factor complex delivered via an Oleosome system to plump the eye area for a redensified appearance.

But it doesn't stop there... hyaluronic acid microspheres penetrate the skin's surface and rehydrate on contact, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Rye seed extract, inspired by mechanobiology, improves skin tone and revitalises tired eyes, while fermented polyglutamic acid boosts hydration and strengthens the skin's barrier for a fuller-looking under-eye area.

Plus, sweet potato root extract with CoQ10 helps reduce the appearance of dark circles and firms thinning skin, complemented by antioxidant-rich niacinamide to enhance hydration and brightness.

Priced at £125, it's available now from Space NK, John Lewis, Harrods, Cult Beauty and Lookfantastic.
