Here are some of this week’s news and features highlights handpicked by TheIndustry.beauty team.

XOXO, DAISE

Daise has launched an XOXO collection just in time for Valentine’s Day, and just in time for my son’s friend’s birthday this weekend. She’s 11. Top of her wishlist? "Anything from Daise".

This brand just got it right, didn’t it? Brilliant branding, brilliant packaging, brilliant products, brilliant fragrances, brilliant colours. This new collection is infused with an addictive blend of saffron, rose, cedarwood, amber and musk. Anything with rose and amber is right up my street too.

Everything in the range comes in at well under £10, making it perfect gifting for tweens and teens, but it’s also an easily affordable gift to self. In the midst of dreary winter weather, this cosy scent is just perfect too.

At those prices, you can layer up the scent with the full range; there’s a foaming body wash (£5), a body spray & deodorant (£3), a body scrub (£8) and a body mist (£6). If you want to, you can also mix and match with other scents in the range.

Daise is all about fun and self-expression; no wonder it’s on top of those tween birthday wish lists.

Available now from Boots.

Floral Street

Enchanted Masquerade, Floral Street

Dearest Reader, it is with great excitement that I unveil what may well be the scent of the season: Floral Street’s Enchanted Masquerade. Fans won’t be surprised to learn - judging by my introduction - that this latest launch from the British perfumer is inspired by none other than Netflix’s Regency-era phenomenon, Bridgerton. And if it wasn’t already obvious, I love this collaboration.

As a devoted Bridgerton fan, I can already envision myself spritzing this fragrance as the drama unfolds. The scent opens with a blend of pear, hazelnut and gardenia, before revealing a romantic heart of Centifolia rose, softened with honeyed nuances. The fragrance settles into a warm base of skin musks and cedarwood, promising a scent that lingers long after the final note.

Visually, Floral Street leans into the fantasy, dressing the bottle in a rich purple colourway adorned with delicate floral detailing and a masked motif - a clear nod to the much-anticipated masquerade ball of the new season.

With part one of season four now landing on Netflix (I know exactly how my Friday night is planned), the limited-edition fragrance has arrived online at Floral Street to coincide with the show’s return. Enchanted Masquerade is available now for £78.

Retinoid 3, Skin Rocks by Caroline Hirons

The queen of skincare, Caroline Hirons, is back with a welcome addition to the Skin Rocks Retinoid line.

Retinoid 3 has been formulated specifically for advanced Vitamin A users, of which, I am one. I've been using a prescription retinoid, and there are times when I find it irritates my skin, so I switched to Skin Rocks Retinoid 2 a few months ago to great success, and now, have upgraded to Retinoid 3 which feels like the perfect match for my skin.

Retinoid 3 features an active level of 0.21% retinal and 0.5% Adapinoid, which helps to reduce the appearance of breakouts while targeting signs of ageing.

The serum has a lotion-like texture, which I personally love, and is backed by some impressive independent clinical studies:

  • Decrease the depth of the deepest wrinkles by up to 17%.
  • Increase skin firmness by up to 41%.
  • Decrease skin texture by up to 20%.
  • Decrease the appearance of pores by up to 24%.
  • Increase skin brightness.

Skin Rocks by Caroline Hirons Retinoid 3 is available for £90 (£80 for the refill) at Skin Rocks.

Phyto Nature E2, Dermalogica

I had my first microneedling session last week (yes, late to the party, I know), where exosomes were used to accelerate cell turnover and support skin repair. It was my first proper introduction to the ingredient. With my post-treatment redness disappearing in less than an hour, I realised exosomes are not just a buzzword, but an effective clinical tool designed to help skin regenerate more efficiently.

That experience made Dermalogica’s Phyto Nature E2 immediately click. The leave-on treatment takes the same regenerative principle used in the clinic and adapts it for daily use at home.

What makes Phyto Nature E2 stand out is how seamlessly it combines regeneration with gentle resurfacing. This isn’t a harsh exfoliant disguised as innovation. Instead, plant-based exosomes work across multiple layers of the skin’s surface to support renewal, while Pumpkin Enzyme subtly refines texture. The result is skin that looks brighter, smoother and more even over time (without the tell-tale tightness or sensitivity that usually comes with exfoliation).

Dermalogica has been laying the groundwork for this moment. Earlier this year, the brand introduced Exo Booster, the first bacterial exosome system in regenerative skincare, designed to accelerate post-procedure recovery. Phyto Nature E2 builds on that science.

At £148, it’s an investment, but one that earns its place if you’re serious about skin longevity rather than quick fixes.

Mood Glider Lip and Blush Stick, TIRTIR

2026 is the year hybrid beauty will come into its own. We're all going to be looking for hard-working multitaskers across skincare and make-up as we look to streamline our routines. These ridiculously cute lip and blush sticks from K-beauty brand TIRTIR are a perfect example of this.

One swipe of this Mood Glider will perfect lips and cheeks and its formula is designed to melt into the skin. The softly gliding stick delivers buildable layers of colour that feel light and fresh, enhancing your natural "liveliness". The water-gel film stabilises the colour pigments to allow for smooth sliding and seamless adhesion, and ensures a flawless finish that never cakes, no matter how many layers you apply. The colour remains vivid too.

Powered by a skin-like hybrid texture and made with a 75% naturally derived formula, it keeps skin hydrated and glowing without any stickiness, so you get some great skincare benefits too.

You can choose from six shades that have been created to flatter all skin tones and adapt to any mood. Choose from Pink Drive, Peach Mingle, Tangerine Glow, Chilli Blaze, Mulberry Potion and Chilli Fresh. Or have fun pairing different shades to create a unique look.

Hyaluronic 8 Super Serum, ALPHA-H

This time of year, I really need that extra boost of hydration for my skin. ALPHA-H has reimagined its Hyaluronic 8 Super Serum, now featuring Ectoin, a powerful ingredient that attracts and retains moisture, helping to reinforce the natural skin barrier.

This next-generation serum takes the brand’s cult hydrator to new heights, strengthening the skin’s natural resilience and delivering advanced, long-lasting hydration for a visibly plumper, more balanced complexion.

The formulation is silky, super-hydrating and fast-absorbing, and the perfect first step in your routine before your favourite moisturiser and SPF. It also features Cureberry, an extract from bilberry leaves with potent antioxidant properties. Clinically proven to protect the skin from environmental and UV-induced blue light damage by reducing free radical impact, as well as collagen and elastin degradation.

Priced at £49.99, the Hyaluronic 8 Super Serum is available online at ALPHA-H.
