Take Back Time Eye Treatment, Trinny London

Trinny London has launched a new Take Back Time Eye Treatment, engineered to boost skin health and longevity.

The new eye treatment (£65) reflects an innovation milestone for the brand as it targets one of the most vulnerable areas of the face: the skin around the eyes, which is said to age up to ten years faster than the rest of the face due to a more rapid slowdown in cellular renewal and repair processes. This can result in stubborn lines, deep crow’s feet, and dark circles, making the eye area more susceptible to the effects of time and lifestyle.

To address this common skin concern, Trinny London's latest launch works at a molecular level to boost the core mechanisms within the skin. So, how does it work?

It boasts Dual Miniprotein Technology to help slow down the signals that lead to the formation of lines. Meanwhile, Advanced Pro Derma Hyaluronic Acid provides immediate hydration to visibly soften lines, and an Adaptogen and Peptide Complex works to improve signs of fatigue, including puffiness, dark circles and eye bags, to restore skin health on a cellular level for a well rested look.

The Starlight Wide Iron, Cloud Nine

Last week, I wrote about Cloud Nine's new holiday collection and I instantly added the Wide Iron to my wish list. The hair tool brand, which is renowned for its effective hair tools that are designed to prevent hair damage, launched its best-selling products in a festive format. From its Curling Wand (which I've used for many years) to its newAirshot Pro Hairdryer, each product is available in the limited-edition starlight colourway.

After finally lifting my black hair with bleach, I am a nut when it comes to damage prevention (to say the least), especially with the holiday season looming. I'm thanking my lucky stars (pardon the pun) that Cloud Nine kindly sent me the newest edition Wide Iron (£239). Surprisingly, I had yet to try a straightener to achieve curls, and after using this, I'm not sure what took me so long.

The tool features Cloud's Nine's latest tech such as a superior 11-setting temperature control for heat protection and frictionless Revive Mode for less snag and drag. Not only does it tame and smooth my frizzy, thick hair, but the curls last all day long.

Nutriente Nourishing Adaptive Moisturiser, MO1

Anyone who knows me (anyone who has been trapped with me for longer than two minutes) will know that I spent my year abroad from university in Florence, an experience which honed the insufferable Italophile within me who only wants to wear and consume products that boast a ‘Made in Italy’ label.

So, when I found MO1, a skincare brand straight outta Puglia, I was bound to be obsessed. My favourite of its new collection is the Nutriente Nourishing Adaptive Moisturiser (£89), packed with aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. I should add that this is Puglian hyaluronic acid, crafted with hand-picked (yes, hand picked!) fermented organic citrus fruit. Your dry, wintery skin will thank you—hopefully in Italian.

Catch Me If I Fall Eau de Parfum, La Pyae Apothecary

British journalist and Vogue Beauty Editor Kathleen Baird-Murray has unveiled a new fragrance, marking the first launch under her debut brand, La Pyae Apothecary. She worked with perfumer Frank Voelkl to create the new scent, first starting the development around nine years ago!

From golden temples, dusty roads and sandalwood prayer beads to neon plastic stools outside crowded tea-shops and delicate strings of jasmine worn in the hair, Baird-Murray takes inspiration from her mother's Myanmar heritage.

The fragrance boasts top notes of bergamot zest, cardamom pods, neroli and green leaves, heart notes of jasmine sambac, freesia, ambrette and iris, and bottom notes of upcycled cedarwood, sandalwood, and white musk.

Priced at £185 for 50ml, the new Catch Me If I Fall Eau de Parfum is available online at La Pyae Apothecary.
