Here are some of this week’s news and features highlights handpicked by TheIndustry.beauty team.

Limited Edition Rose Veil, Leighton Denny

I love red nail varnish in the winter, but for the rest of the year, my nails are usually dressed in various shades of nude and pink. I can't get enough of them. That's why Leighton Denny's new limited-edition launch has caught my eye - offering a fresh take on the classic French pink.

This sophisticated, semi-sheer shade has a delicate radiance and delivers that perfect "your nails but better" effect - elevated by a refined golden shimmer that looks polished, sophisticated, and effortlessly luxurious.

As you’d expect from Leighton Denny, Rose Veil also promises a long-lasting, high-gloss, chip-resistant finish, while the wide brush ensures easy and smooth application. Want to add it to your collection? It’s available for £12.50 on the Leighton Denny website.

Tubing Mascara, UKLash

Tubing mascaras are having a quiet comeback - and for good reason. For anyone bored of smudging, flaking, and aggressive removal, they offer a more considered approach to lash definition: wrap, lift, wear all day, then rinse away cleanly with warm water. But it’s UKLash's latest launch that has taken the top spot for me.

The UKLash Tubing Mascara (£16) brings the brand’s science-led credentials into colour cosmetics, pairing flexible tubing polymers with lash-conditioning ingredients like arginine and shea butter. The result? A lightweight, buildable formula that defines each lash individually, delivering length and lift without stiffness, clumps, or fallout. When it’s time to take it off, warm water does the job - no rubbing, no drama, and far kinder to lashes over time.

While performance comes first, the cream-and-gold packaging doesn’t hurt. It feels luxe in my sea of cosmetics - the kind of mascara you consistently reach for, not one that gets lost at the bottom of your makeup bag.

As for shades, Mocha Brown is my go-to for making green eyes pop without looking overdone. Come evening, I switch to black for a little more impact.

Tube Job, Urban Decay

It seems to be the week of tubing mascaras - and I couldn’t be happier. As a convert, I won’t wear any other kind of mascara anymore (tubing mascaras are the ultimate saviour for my smudges and watery eyes).

Enter Urban Decay’s Tube Job Tubing Mascara, an ultra-lightweight formula that promises "instant length and a gravity-defying lift". Its 89% serum-soaked formula wraps, lifts, and lengthens each lash - boosting length by 34% and delivering an 11% droop-proof lift. The result? Bold, defined, and perfectly lifted lashes - what more could you want!?

And when the day is done, it melts away with warm water - no tugging, no drama, just clean lashes.

Sol De Janeiro

Rosa Charmosa Dewy Cream and Fragrance Mist, Sol de Janeiro

A new category of body cream and fragrance has landed this week from the mighty Sol de Janeiro. This one taps into the glass skin trend, but this time for the body. It has arrived just in time for creating skin that glistens along with your sequins this party season.

Fusing skincare science with sensory ritual, Rosa Charmosa Dewy Cream is a luxuriously lightweight, water-whipped body cream, powered by Crystal Peptide, Brazilian Yacón Essence, and Rosewater. The accompanying Fragrance Mist, Cheirosa 91, is a juicy blend of Rio Pink Rose, passionfruit, honey caramel and cashmere woods. Right up my street basically.

The cream is priced at £48 (240ml) and the fragrance mist is £24 (90ml); they are available from Sol de Janeiro stockists such as Cult Beauty, Lookfantastic, Sephora, Boots and Space NK. I would not be upset if Santa felt like popping this under the tree for me.
