Editors' Picks: New launches from Wonderskin, Only Curls, Elemental Herbology and more...
From Wonderskin's collaboration with Chipotle to Elemental Herbology's menopause-specific gel mask, and more, here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.
Curl Refresh Spray, Only Curls
Looking for the ultimate solution for lacklustre next day curls? Well, Only Curls has you covered thanks to its new hydrating refresh spray. Promising to "bring out the best in your natural texture", the product works to reactivate curls and enhance definition whilst reducing frizz.
Formulated without silicones, the spray delivers deep hydration with a nourishing blend of avocado oil, quinoa protein, pro-vitamin B5, and rice water.
What's more, this lightweight product also redefines and reshapes curls, ensuring they look fresh and bouncy. Just simply spritz onto dry curls, use your hands to gently detangle where needed, and scrunch curls back into shape. It's as easy as that!

Lip Stain, Chipotle x Wonderskin
If you are a regular social media user, like myself, I’m sure you would’ve come across Wonderskin’s Lip Stain during at least one of your late-night scrolls.
I’m certainly one for a gimmick, but it has to work – queue Wonderskin’s Lip Stain. You know, the ones that go on as a dark blue foil and is peeled off to reveal a long-lasting lip stain.
Now, it's introducing the foodie x beauty lover collaboration of the year. Along with Mexican fast food chain Chipotle, Wonderskin has launched a new shade of its viral Lip Stain (£18). The burrito-proof lippy goes on as a guac-green foil masque, which is peeled to reveal a vibrant berry shade that is locked in place by activator mist. Whether you're a Lip Stain lover or a tortilla chip snacker, this is one for your makeup bag.

Pause & Renew Gel Mask, Elemental Herbology
Spa and skincare brand Elemental Herbology has launched its first menopause-specific skincare product, the Pause & Renew Gel Mask (£50, 50ml). I've often thought what menopause skincare is (surely it's just skincare for more mature skin?) and retailers have told me that women in this bracket don't like buying products labelled as such.
But my views on this are evolving. While I have seen some nonsense products branded 'menopause', seemingly just for the marketability, there are products that genuinely seek to address the specific skincare challenges related to this life stage. This is one such product.
This cooling, calming and refreshing mask (even just writing that feels good) has been designed using the latest ingredients to help reverse symptoms of perimenopausal and menopausal skin, though in fairness any skin type or age can use it. As with all Elemental Herbology products, the Pause & Renew Gel Mask is based on traditional Chinese medicine and is the first product in the 'Metal' range to target menopause skin concerns (Chinese medicine in based around the five elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water).
This mask contains a powerful blend of adaptogens, vitamins and antioxidants, including ashwagandha, red clover, and niacinamide to deliver intense hydration and boost collagen production to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and this, for me, is the skincare concern that bothers me the most. The wrinkles I can live with but the redness really bothers me, so I'm pleased this address that.
"Skin changes experienced during menopause are a completely normal part of the ageing process. Menopause commonly affects skin hydration, adult-acne and pigmentation can be more prominent, and collagen depletes affecting skin volume and glow. Embracing these changes with a tailored skincare routine that includes ingredients to increase collagen and elastin production, boost hydration, cool and reduce inflammation, strengthen the barrier, increase radiance and encourage a more even skin tone will ensure that the skin not only looks its best, but is also functioning healthily," explains Elemental Herbology’s Head of Education, Antonia David. I can get on board with this.

DermaCare Ceramides, Boots
Boots has launched a new range of ceramide-powered skincare. The new seven-piece collection harnesses the power of a triple ceramide complex, promising to "support, restore and balance" the skin’s natural barrier for a healthy, radiant complexion.
The product line-up, priced from £6-8, combines ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids to replenish and fortify the skin barrier, as well as squalene, probiotics, and peptides to leave the skin feeling moisturised, protected, and radiant. As for the packaging, it's certainly a vibrant range, which I'm sure will appeal to many consumers. Let's not forget how quickly Byoma (and its funky, colourful packaging) flies off the shelves.
The collection joins the retailer's line-up of over 115 own-brand beauty products across cosmetics, haircare and skincare and follows the launch of its new Glossy Lip Balms, with one of three flavours selling every 30 seconds since launching two weeks ago.
