Editors' Top Picks: New launches from Jil Sander, Kay Beauty, Paused and more...
Here are the top beauty launch picks of the week from TheIndustry.beauty team.

Jil Sander Olfactory Series 1
I’ve always been drawn to fragrances containing Aldehyde. This compound is described as “having a crisp, "champagne-like" sparkle, and they can range from smelling like clean, freshly ironed linen to having a soapy, waxy, or metallic quality” – my search to smell like a Dry Cleaner is over! Hurrah.
Jil Sander, one of the most stylish of the minimal brands, in my opinion, has extended its Olfactory Series 1 with 6 new scents all containing Aldehyde cut with key natural ingredients.
- JIL SANDER Shiso, created with Julie Massé: “An early morning walk reveals the world anew: the movement of leaves on a tree, a person gently picking up wild herbs on the roadside, small events noticed as if for the first time.”
- JIL SANDER Salt, created with Alexis Grugeon: “The fluidity of water and the weightlessness we feel when immersed into it, salt crystals on the skin, flashes of light on the surface of the sea. In JIL SANDER Salt the aldehydes turn these sensations into a kaleidoscope of shimmering and palpable mineral textures.”
- JIL SANDER Lily, created with Mathilde Bijaoui: “Caught by surprise by an enchanting perfume on a warm Florentine night. Lilies are white, sensual flowers that primarily release their fragrance after sunset, in the dark.”
- JIL SANDER Sesame, created with Meabh Mc Curtin: “The first taste of black sesame ice cream reveals a world of simple, yet profound, reverberations and nuances. It is the start of a quiet obsession, born in a shared moment of joy and giving.”
- JIL SANDER Mahogany, created with Louise Turner: “The supreme energy of a tropical forest captured into a scent. For its flowing grain, the depths of its hues where red turns to black, and its earthy darkness, mahogany is one of the most fascinating trees.”
- JIL SANDER Vanille, created with Coralie Spicher: “As a catchy melody, a love song, layered over a moody soundscape, this fragrance folds over the duality of vanilla, with its darker, profound notes taking precedence over the sweetness and charm we usually associate with it.”

Paused's Creatine, Hydration and Beauty Complex
I do love a good supplement brand, especially one that looks to help you along multiple fronts. Paused, which makes premium nutritional supplements, is this month launching five new formulas, which aim to redefine healthy ageing. The collection spans metabolic balance, cellular energy, antioxidant defence, hydration, cognitive function and beauty‑from‑within.
My motto, as you may have read in this series before, is all about prevention and longevity, which is why I love supplements, as they can play a key role in ensuring that your skin and body gets everything it needs to stay vibrant and glowing.
I'm not alone in this, with Hilary Leam, Founder & CEO of Paused, commenting that longevity wellness has moved from "niche to mainstream because people want to feel good not just today, but in ten, twenty and thirty plus years from now."
I'm especially excited about Paused's Creatine, Hydration and Beauty Complex formula, which combines supplements I take separately today including electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and beauty-supporting nutrients including biotin, bamboo extract and hyaluronic acid. It supports hydration, muscle function, collagen formation and normal energy metabolism – all the good things!
The Creatine, Hydration and Beauty Complex is available for £39.99 at Holland & Barrett and Paused's website.

Kay Beauty Cashmere Lip Blur
I have never been a huge fan of matte lipsticks because I always find them too drying, so I was interested to see Kay Beauty's take on the growing blurred lip trend. Rather than the traditional flat matte finish, the new Cashmere Lip Blur promises a soft-focus look with a lightweight, whipped texture that is designed to feel comfortable throughout the day.
Infused with avocado oil, the formula aims to keep lips hydrated while creating the diffused, airbrushed finish that has become increasingly popular across social media. After years of glossy lips dominating, consumers seem to be looking for something softer and more effortless. I can definitely relate, as I find a lighter lip much more comfortable for everyday wear.
