Boots reveals biggest beauty and wellness trends of 2025

Science-backed skincare, mood-boosting fragrances, and gut-health supplements have emerged as some of the most sought-after products in beauty and wellness in 2025.

This insight comes from high street chain Boots, which analysed a year’s worth of search and sales data to identify the trends and products driving customer demand.

The findings reveal that Boots customers increasingly gravitate toward skincare with clinically proven formulations, while exfoliants remained a key focus throughout the year. Beyond topical care, there’s a growing appetite for holistic support through vitamins and supplements. Fragrance, meanwhile, is gaining recognition as both a mood enhancer and a means of self-expression.

'Innovation meets indulgence' as Ruuby expands at-home offering with K18

As someone who works hybrid and has been stuck at home recovering from foot surgery for the past couple of weeks, I’ve really come to appreciate the power of at-home services. Ruuby has quietly become one of the platforms I rely on most. So when I saw they’d teamed up with K18, I knew my at-home treatments were about to level up. Ruuby has been steadily tapping some of the industry’s top brands, but this might be their smartest pairing yet.

For a platform that’s already delivered over 500,000 treatments and built a network of more than 2,500 vetted pros, adding K18 to its roster takes its offering into a whole new territory. The new at-home blow-dry doesn’t just give you a good hair day - it strengthens the hair from within, powered by K18’s HeatBounce and Resilicore tech.

Founder Venetia Archer summed it up perfectly when she said, "Clients want hair that looks incredible, but they don’t want to trade health for heat." Preach.

With Ruuby continuing to expand across categories and countries, and now forging partnerships with innovation-led brands like K18, it’s clear the platform isn’t just participating in the at-home beauty boom. In my opinion, it’s leading it.

Faace signals surprise comebackas founder teases 2026 relaunch after near closure

Beauty is obsessed with new launches (I am too) but here's some news of a potential relaunch.

Faace founder, the rather wonderful Jasmine Wicks-Stephens, announced recently that her BBC Dragons-backed skincare brand would be closing down, but it appears to have had a last-minute reprieve.

At the time, she said she felt "mentally and physically done in" and felt there was no way forward for the brand.

Six months later, it seems a rescue deal has been done and Faace will be back in 2026 with some updates to its products, formulas and packaging.

Being a founder is hard, as many of you will know, so this is a nice feel-good story to end the year. If you ever feel there's no hope, think about this story, because you never know what the future might bring.
