Elizabeth Grant Skin Care launches in the UK
Canada-based brand Elizabeth Grant Skin Care, which was originally founded in London in 1948, is returning to its roots by launching into the UK with Debenhams and Amazon.
Remaining a female, family-run business that crosses three generations of women since its founding 76 years ago, Elizabeth Grant Skin Care aims to support women at all life stages.
Despite starting in London in 1948, where Grant worked as a makeup artist on famous faces like Vivien Leigh, Sean Connery and Noel Coward, it is only now launching into the UK market.
The brand's hero ingredient, Torricelumn, was first discovered by Grant back in 1948 after she sought a natural ingredient to heal wounds that had been caused by a WW2 bomb blast.
The proprietary compound comes from a particular type of algae, with added vitamins, botanicals and antioxidants to create the Torricelumn formula used within the brand's product portfolio.
Over the years, Elizabeth Grant Skin Care has perfected the formula to help consumers target and improve the five main signs of ageing: wrinkles, firmness, hyperpigmentation, dryness and dullness.
Its product line-up includes a Supreme Essence of Torricelumn and Torricelumntm Absolute Miracle 02 Eye Serum, amongst other items like its best-selling Collagen Re-inforce 3D Advanced collection, all of which are now available online at Debenhams and Amazon.
From development to manufacturing, all products are developed in-house in Toronto, Canada to protect the quality of its formulations and eliminate unnecessary costs that add to higher pricing.
Margot Grant Witz, VP of Elizabeth Grant Skin Care and granddaughter of its eponymous founder, said: "When my Elizabeth launched Elizabeth Grant Skin Care in 1948, she wanted to create a brand that helps people fall in love with their skin and the ageing process.
"Now, 76 years later, we pride ourselves on making effective products that truly work on every age and skin type to deliver a quality product with incredible results. We are so proud to come back home to the UK and can’t wait to celebrate your skin."
