Estée Lauder appoints successor for Olivier Bottrie as Global President of Travel Retail

The Estée Lauder Companies has announced a number of leadership appointments for its Travel Retail business, following the announcement that Olivier Bottrie, Global President of Travel Retail and Retail Development, will retire in June 2022.

Israel Assa, the company's current President of Commercial Travel Retail Worldwide, will succeed Olivier to become Global President of Travel Retail Worldwide. Based in New York, Assa will report directly to Peter Jueptner, President International at The Estée Lauder Companies. He will join the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

Javier Simon, President of Travel Retail Asia Pacific, will succeed Israel Assa to become President of Commercial Travel Retail Worldwide. He will report directly to Assa and will be based in Switzerland. Simon will also join the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

Andrea Dorigo, SVP and General Manager of Global Retail and Head of Commercial in North America, will continue to report directly to Mark Loomis, President of North America at The Estée Lauder Companies, for his Commercial North America responsibilities and will report directly to Peter Jueptner for his Global Retail responsibilities.

All appointments will be effective from 1 May 2022.
