The Estée Lauder Companies has announced that Nathalie Berger Duquene has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global General Manager of Balmain Beauty.

Effective immediately, Berger Duquene will report directly to Guillaume Jesel, Global Brand President of Balmain Beauty, Tom Ford Beauty and Luxury Business Development.

Earlier this week, Balmain and Estée Lauder Companies entered into a license agreement to collaboratively develop, produce and distribute a line of beauty products.

Prior to ELC, she held global, international and regional roles across brands including with Armani Beauty, Lancôme, Helena Rubinstein, Biotherm and Guerlain.

Guillaume Jesel, Global Brand President of Balmain Beauty, said: “Drawing from the authentic heritage of Balmain, Nathalie will partner with me and the team at Balmain to establish Balmain Beauty as the future of luxury, couture beauty. With more than 20 years of experience in luxury beauty marketing, Nathalie is ideally suited to take on this position and help bring our new visionary luxury brand to market, and into the hands of consumers globally.”
