Luxury travel and luxury beauty are a match made in heaven, and Wildsmith Skin agrees, which is why it is introducing the "first ever spa on rails" in England on the Britannic Explorer.

Wildsmith, the skincare brand known for its nature-inspired approach, is bringing its expertise to England’s railways, curating treatments inspired by "the world outside the train windows". In one of the luxury train’s 10 carriages, otherwise known as the Wellness Suite, the skincare brand is offering a serene escape to harmonise the body and mind.

The Britannic Explorer's General Manager, Hendrik Huebner, said: "Wellbeing is at the heart of the Britannic Explorer experience. Our collaboration with Wildsmith is a commitment to offering our guests more than just a journey; we are providing an opportunity for them to take time to reconnect with themselves and the world around them.

"By integrating Wildsmith’s nature-inspired approach to wellbeing into our offering, we are providing an opportunity for every guest to leave the Britannic Explorer feeling re-energized and deeply cared for. This partnership reinforces our belief that travel should be transformative, immersive, and ultimately, restorative."

On board, Wildsmith will offer exclusive treatments, including the newly-created ‘Signature Circadian Rhythm Reset’ - a choice of three distinct treatments throughout the day from a revitalizing morning session to a midday purifying treatment and a calming evening ritual designed to promote relaxation and restful sleep.

In addition, the ‘Radical Botany Facial’ combines breathwork, myofascial release and acupressure for radiance and balance, while the ‘Rebalancing Massage’ focuses on aligning with natural circadian rhythms to reduce stress and improve circulation.

Katherine Pye, General Manager at Wildsmith, added: "As we continue to expand our presence in the wellbeing and hospitality sector, we seek partners who share our commitment to offering elevated wellbeing experiences."

Beyond the train, guests can continue their well-being journey with curated offboard experiences such as coastal sailing, yoga, scenic valley hikes, lavender farm visits and wood-fired saunas, to name a few.

The Britannic Explorer will debut in July 2025. Luxury accommodation onboard starts from £11,000 based on a double cabin.
