Female-founded skincare brand Faace has raised £165,969 from a Seedrs crowdfunding campaign to help support its global expansion.

The brand has exceeded its crowdfunding target of £150,005, raising £165,969 from 256 investors worldwide.

The funding will be used to fuel growth, including to produce the brand's newly developed products for retail, support all key retailers and countries with digital marketing, grow social media and invest in content strategy for Instagram and TikTok, and work with relevant influencers to help drive awareness around the brand.

Jasmine Wicks-Stephens, Founder of Faace, said: “I feel incredibly proud about how far Faace has come, but there’s so much more we want to do. So many more conversations we want to tackle, more skincare problems we want to solve, more sheet masks we want to save from landfill, and more great causes we want to support.

"We’re thrilled that by opening our doors and inviting our community to join our journey we’ve exceeded our crowdfund target, allowing us to continue on our mission.”

Founded by Jasmine Wicks-Stephens in 2020, Faace aims to "disrupt the UK beauty industry with its fuss-free, ethical skincare designed to look after your skin, when you don’t have the time or energy to do so".

Today, the brand is available in 23 countries and 59 retailers, including Harrods, Lookfantastic and Boots.
