Faith In Nature raises over £760k in first-ever crowdfunding campaign

Faith In Nature has raised £760,068 in its first-ever crowdfunding campaign to invest in more sustainable manufacturing practices. 

With 871 investors, the brand has raised 138% of its target via crowdfunding platform Crowdcube less than a month after its launch.

The brand set out to raise upwards of £550,000 to "continue making game-changing sustainability moves, while helping create eco-friendly products suited to modern shopping habits".

It exceeded its target for early access investment within the first 24 hours.

In a post of Instagram, Faith In Nature said: "That's a wrap! Our crowdfunding campaign has now ended.

"A huge thank you to everyone who chose to invest in us. Thanks to you we managed to raise over and above our predicted target, which will help us to bring our exciting plans for the future of our company (and the planet!) into fruition."

Founded in 1974, Faith In Nature creates natural haircare and bodycare products to help consumers make better choices for themselves and the planet.

It recently achieved B Corp certification, and now plans to "continually reimagine what it means to be a green company in today's world", using the funds to move to a new site for greener manufacturing, creating products for a circular economy and reducing its carbon footprint.
