Firmenich appoints new leadership for Perfumery & Ingredients organisation

Swiss fragrance and taste company Firmenich has appointed Ilaria Resta as the new President of its Perfumery & Ingredients organisation.

Resta previously served as the company's Head of Perfumery, having first joined the company in 2020. Prior to this, she held various senior roles at Proctor & Gamble (P&G).

The news coincides with the appointment of Amaury Roquette as Senior Vice President of Ingredients. Reporting to Resta, Roquette will run all end-to-end activities of Firmenich's ingredients business.

Roquette first joined Firmenich over 14 years ago in the Strategic Development team. More recently, he moved into the company's Taste & Beyond segment as Vice President Naturals Platform.

Firmenich is a privately-owned fragrance and taste company, known for creating fragrance for brands including Calvin Klein, Gucci and YSL. The company's Perfumery & Ingredients business "integrates Firmenich's innovative ingredients palette closely with its perfumery activities, offering customers significant added value".
