The Fragrance shop has joined the line-up of designer fashion and beauty retailers at the Scottish outlet shopping village of Gretna Gateway, as it continues to plough ahead with a significant investment and redevelopment programme.

The Fragrance Shop boutique at Gretna Gateway joins the retailer’s network of over 200 stores across the country and will stock a wide range of distinctive designer scents such as Caroline Herrera, Lacoste, Diesel, Guess, Armani and Hugo Boss.

The new store joins a range of other beauty retailers (including Molton Brown, The Body Shop and The Cosmetics Company Store) currently trading at the shopping village, which is soon to be rebranded as ‘Caledonia Park’ following an extensive refurbishment scheme.

Welcoming The Fragrance Shop to the village, RPMI Railpen investment manager Mahmoud Attia said: “The Fragrance Shop is a very welcome addition to the line-up of beauty brands at Gretna Gateway, which continue to be one of the top performing categories at the destination this year.

“During this difficult time for the sector, it’s fantastic to secure this exciting new retailer, and to continue enhancing the experience and value at Gretna Gateway for visitors.”

Fragrance Shop area manager Shona Gilchrist added: “We are so excited to be launching our new store in Gretna.

“Gretna Gateway is such a busy hub for so many people making the journey across the border and we are looking forward to spraying a little happiness into their day.”

The launch of The Fragrance Shop coincides with the significant investment programme underway at Gretna Gateway.

The works incorporate comprehensive architecture and landscape redevelopments, as part of the destination’s upcoming rebrand to Caledonia Park.
