Freemans calls out to third-party beauty brands with new ‘Brand Studio’
Bradford-based Freemans launched ‘Brand Studio’, to onboard more fashion and beauty third-party brands to join the ‘fastest growing’ digital department store.
The retailer, which has seen stellar growth of 65% over the last two years, has opened its third-party brands programme, offering coveted places on the retailer’s roster. Brand Studio is a new concept to highlight Freemans’ extensive range of third-party brands that are available across fashion, home and beauty.
The pitch, open to both up-and-coming brands as well as household names, offers potential places as exclusives or on standard third-party contracts.
Linda Quinn, Chief Merchandising Officer at Freemans, said: "This is a unique opportunity for ambitious brands to showcase their products with the support of one of the UK’s best-loved retailers. We serve more than a million customers each year, so we’ll bring your product to new customers in new markets.
"Freemans gives customers access to a fantastic selection of both established and emerging brands, helping us on our journey to be the nation’s digital department store of choice."
Current third-party brands available on Freemans include Adidas, Elizabeth Arden, Seasalt, Joe Browns, Mango, Monsoon, Wrangler, Dune, Superdry and New Balance to name a few.
Freemans recently welcomed fashion brands including Joules, Radley London and Seasalt Cornwall later this year. In addition, Beauty, which has seen sales soar 33% in the five months to May 23, welcomed Max Factor, Rimmel and Gatineau.
Richard Cristofoli, Chief Customer Officer, commented: "Brand Studio highlights the extensive range of amazing third-party brands that are curated to complement our exclusive collections and partnerships.
"Any new brand partner comes on board knowing their product offer will be underpinned by our free delivery and returns promise alongside a variety of flexible ways to pay."
