Digital department store Freemans has launched its first-ever beauty box as category sales lift 33% in the first five months of the year.

The new summer edition beauty box features a selection of seven full-size products, as well as various travel and sample sizes across skincare, haircare and makeup.

To help "ensure shoppers look their best all summer long", the products include a Philip Kingsley Water Resistant Mask, My Toy Boy Mascara, James Read Self Tan and Patchology Rosé Sheet Mask, amongst other items.

Priced at £50, the summer edition beauty box is filled with beauty items worth over £150 and available exclusively at Freemans.com.

Customers who purchase the box will also have access to special offers on repeat beauty buys, as well as a bounce back offer to encourage repeat beauty orders.

Following the summer edition, Freemans said it plans to offer a new quarterly beauty box each season, curating the "best buys of the season".

Michelle Fox, Beauty Buyer at Freeman, said: “Our new beauty box has been specially designed to contain all you need to get your glow on all summer long.

"We’re confident our beauty team’s picks will become customers’ new favourites and all at an affordable price.”

Freemans entered the beauty category in September 2021 as part of a "digital transformation" of the 118 year old brand. Its beauty offer now spans approximately 2,500 lines.

The beauty box launch coincides with a 33% increase in beauty sales at Freemans over the last five months. Overall, the retailer now serves more than a million customers annually.
