The new flagship marks an exciting milestone for the brand as it is part of its global expansion following the success of its stores in Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia.
Freshly Cosmetics was established in Spain in 2016 by two chemical engineers with products that are +99% natural, vegan, cruelty-free, sustainable and contain clean ingredients. The brand also uses sustainable packaging such as 100% recycled glass, aluminium and and wood.
The brand launched online in the UK market in 2018 with a small range of selected products.
Samantha Bain-Mollison, the Retail Director of real-estate company Shaftsbury told TheIndustry.fashion: “We are delighted that Freshly has chosen Carnaby Street for their first UK store for the brand. Their focus on great quality and sustainable products is a good fit for the Carnaby consumer. The store is bright, fun and will be a destination for consumers seeking vegan cosmetic solutions. They join recent openings including Metal Morphosis, Hype and Aubin”
Marta de Blas, International Growth Manager for Freshly Cosmetics added: “The launch of our first international retail store being in London is no coincidence. We firmly believe that having a physical presence in the UK, and in London particularly, is key to the success of our international growth strategy and has the potential to open Freshly’s doors to the world. Being situated in the famous and iconic Carnaby Street places us in the centre of one of the most cosmopolitan and desirable shopping destinations on the globe.”
The store is located on 44 Carnaby Street, London, W1F 9PP.
