Function of Beauty names new CMO

Function of Beauty has announced the appointment of Marianna Trofimova as its new Chief Marketing Officer.

Founded in 2015, Function Beauty specialises in customisable haircare, skincare and bodycare products.

In her new role, Trofimova will be responsible for strengthening the brand, building its product portfolio, go-to-market strategies and global expansion.

Trofimova joins Function of Beauty from L'Oreal, where she held various global positions in Consumer, Active Cosmetics and Professional divisions, with the last two as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications for Biolage and Garnier in the US.

The appointment follows the appointment of Matthew Eberhart as Chief Digital Officer and Boyoung Leeand as Chief Creative Officer.
