Deodorant brand Fussy has launched its latest sustainable deodorant, which aims to address Christmas tree wastage.

Emphasised by the brand, the UK buys over six million Christmas trees every year. Fussy's new deodorant is made from the Christmas trees that nobody wants.

The product's Christmas tree scent was developed in partnership with a Norfolk-based tree wholesaler and essential oil distiller. Together with Fussy they distilled the trees that didn’t make the cut and will be carrying on with the project into the New Year collecting customers trees in and around the London area.

Fussy is a refillable natural deodorant brand, which aims to create high-quality and effective personal care products that are backed by science.

Matt Kennedy, Co-founder and CEO at Fussy, said: "We didn’t want to release just another novelty scent this Christmas but to make an actual difference. Plus, who doesn’t want to smell like a Christmas tree?"

To support the new exclusive scent, Fussy has worked with advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi to tell the story of Douglas Fir, the unwanted Christmas tree and his journey to an unexpected end.
