Future Beauty Labs has expanded its brand portfolio with the launch of BYOMA, a new skincare brand designed to boost and rebuild the skin barrier in an accessible and affordable way.

BYOMA will launch with its range of clinically proven, dermatologist-approved and science-backed formulas, each infused with three essential lipids of the skin barrier and handpicked ingredients aiming to boost, build, balance and brighten skin.

The new product range includes a Creamy Jelly Cleanser, Balancing Face Mist and Moisturising Gel Cream. Along with three serums to balance, brighten and hydrate skin.

Google searches into the skin barrier increased by 550% in 2021 and #skinbarrier gained 153 million views on TikTok, which Future Beauty Lab says may have led consumers to over-treating, over-exfoliating and breaking their skin barriers in search of short term, quick fixes.

BYOMA looks to combine the skin science of barrier care with the performance and efficacy of single ingredient formulations to create the "ultimate skin-compatible solution".

Skincare is a new venture for Future Beauty Labs, which is more commonly known for creating self-tanning solutions for brands Tan-Luxe, Isle of Paradise and Tanologist.

Marc Elrick, Founder and CEO at BYOMA, said: "I’m so excited to have finally launched BYOMA. With BYOMA we wanted to create something truly revolutionary and disruptive in the skincare category. I can’t wait to hear what people think of the brand. It's barrier boosting skincare driven by science, powered by actives for the ultimate skin-compatible solution."
