Gisou, the viral honey-based haircare brand, has named Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as global brand ambassador as it lands at Space NK.

Launched 10 years ago by entrepreneur Negin Mirsalehi, using her family’s famous honey, Gisou has gone on to become a social media sensation thanks to its high-performance haircare, including oils, serums, fragrance, shampoo and conditioners. It is also famed for its range of lip oils.

Known for her luscious hair, Huntington-Whiteley is one of the best-known models and entrepreneurs in the industry, having launched her own beauty and lingerie businesses.

She said she was delighted to join the “Gisou hive” and spread the word on the brand. “Hair has always been a powerful form of self-expression for me and this partnership feels like a natural fit,” said Huntington-Whitely, who appears in the brand’s latest campaign with her hair styled using its Honey Milk 5-in-1 Styling Cream.

“I have long admired Gisou’s commitment to quality, heritage and innovation. This campaign celebrates that hair is your best accessory – deeply personal and a reflection of your identity,” she added.

Gisou founder Negin Mirsalehi said that welcoming Huntington-Whiteley felt “incredibly special”. “She is a true icon whose genuine love for beauty and hair as a form of self-expression aligns so naturally with our world,” she added.

The news comes as Gisou adds Space NK as a major new stockist from 22 August. The brand will be rolled out to 40 Space NK stores by the end of the year. “I have always been inspired by the UK’s vibrant beauty community, and I am beyond excited to officially launch Gisou at Space NK.

“This partnership allows us to connect with more UK beauty lovers and share the power of our honey-infused rituals through one of the most trusted and iconic retailers in the space.”
