Gisou welcomes new CEO as it expands leadership team
TikTok viral haircare brand Gisou has appointed Sarah Watt as its new CEO to help boost growth.
Watt brings over 20 years of beauty experience to the role, having previously held strategic leadership roles at L’Oréal and Charlotte Tilbury.
For the past year, she has also worked alongside Gisou's founders, Negin Mirsalehi and Maurits Stibbe, as Chair of the brand's Supervisory Board.
As CEO, Watt hopes to "build brand desirability, foster community, and amplify the Gisou's commitment to environmental sustainability".
"Gisou is an extraordinary business experiencing impressive momentum, with boundless opportunity for future success," she said in a statement.

In addition to the appointment of Watt as Chief Executive, the brand has expanded its senior leadership team to include former CEO Melbert Visscher in the newly created role of Chief Finance and Operations Officer.
The new appointments mark a "pivotal moment" in Gisou’s journey as it approaches annual global retail sales of €100 million.
