Glossier gives pet essentials a pink makeover - complete with branded dog poo bags
Glossier has launched a new merchandise drop, the Pink Capsule Collection, which extends its lifestyle offering with a playful range designed for both customers and their pets.
The collection includes an updated version of its Original Pink Hoodie, a limited-edition tote and a selection of dog-focused accessories.
These pet items include a 'You Look Good' lead, matching collar, pet waste bag dispenser and even coordinating pet waste bags.
Glossier described the inspiration behind the drop as centred around relaxed summer routines and time spent outdoors.
"Dreamed up just in time for summer, we thought about a Saturday spent out and about - from farmer’s market runs to coffee with friends (pup in tow, obviously) - and how we could sweeten those moments," the brand said.
"Everything is finished with a thoughtful, light touch that makes the collection feel special without trying too hard - subtle logo placements, our signature Smile Wave emblem sprinkled throughout. And of course, our You Look Good mantra is in there too."
Glossier was founded in 2014 by Emily Weiss, emerging from Into The Gloss, a beauty website and community focused on candid conversations about skincare and cosmetics. Since its launch, the brand has positioned itself around accessible, uncomplicated beauty, with an emphasis on user-friendly formulations, minimal packaging, and a community-driven approach to product development.
The company is currently shifting its strategy to refocus the business, including scaling back its retail presence. As part of this restructuring, Glossier will close nine of its 12 stores over the next few years, retaining only its flagship locations in London, New York, and Los Angeles.
