Inclusive skincare brand Glowb has launched at Beauty Bay, accelerating its brand mission to redefine beauty standards.

The brand was founded by plus-size model and body positivity advocate Sophie Hughes after she donated part of her liver to save her nephew’s life and was left with a large scar on her midriff. Hughes now wears the scar with pride and hopes to show others that everybody is beautiful.

Manufactured in the UK with non-toxic ingredients, the vegan products are available in 100% recyclable glass packaging. Glowb's products include the Freaky Clean Micellar Water, Dirtier the Better Cleanser, Glisten Up Hydrating Mist and Glow Hero Facial Oil.

Sophie Hughes, Founder of Glowb, said: “I’ve always been vocal about the importance of body inclusivity in fashion and beauty. I use my own platforms to spread the message of loving the skin you’re in and I had a dream to build a brand and product range, that helps people feel beautiful exactly as they are. Beauty Bay push beauty boundaries forward by thinking of progressive ideas, partnering with them made so much sense."

In a statement, Beauty Bay added: “We are delighted to welcome Glowb to the Beauty Bay portfolio. We love its ethos around body positivity and redefining beauty standards with vegan, gentle uncomplicated products. We are thrilled to have the brand on board."
