Guerlain will open its first UK store in London’s Covent Garden alongside seven more brands

Fragrance brand Guerlain and LA-based lifestyle label Rails will open their first UK stores in Covent Garden, with six more brands also announcing store openings.

Guerlain opened its first pop-up shop in the same location in the first week of November, celebrating the launch its exclusive new high perfumery collection, L’Art & La Matiere.

Capital & Counties Properties PLC (‘Capco’) announced that alongside Guerlain and Rails six more brands, spanning across the fashion, beauty and luxury watch sector, have announced they will open retail spaces in Covent Garden.

Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand Rails will also open its first London store on Floral Street, with Japanese retailer Uniqlo taking over a flagship store space on the same street, at a new site combining 19-21 Long Acre and Carriage Hall

Luxury watch brand TAG Heuer will open a store on James Street, while contemporary jewellery brand e&e will open in the Market Building and Italian fashion brand Empresa, has signed on a space on Henrietta Street.

Luxury beauty and lifestyle brand OTO will open a store on James Street, while digitally native beauty brand Lisa Eldrige has already opened at the Royal Opera House Arcade.

WatchHouse Coffee and British handcrafted Bullards Spirits have also announced they will be taking over spaces on Covent Garden’s Southampton Street and in the Market Building.

Previously beauty brand Glossier and Experimental Group have also announced they will open stores in the new year, alongside sustainable fashion label Reformation.
