Hailey Bieber’s Rhode appoints new CEO
Rhode, the skincare brand founded by American model Hailey Bieber, has appointed Nick Vlahos as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Vlahos joins Rhode from The Honest Company, actress Jessica Alba's personal care brand, where he most recently served as CEO until January 2023.
Prior to this, he was EVP and Chief Operating Officer at The Clorox Company and VP and Global General Manager at Burt's Bees.
"Nick has a proven track record of growing companies and his expertise in innovation, distribution, global expansion and team development is going to be instrumental as we continue on to our next chapter of accelerated growth," Bieber said in a statement.
Launched in 2022, Rhode is renowned for its milky products that give the skin a 'glazed doughnut' effect, as well as its consistently sold-out peptide lip treatments.
Last month, the celebrity-owned business promoted its Head of Brand, Lauren Ratner, to the role of Chief Brand Officer.
Ratner joined Rhode prior to its launch in 2020 after leading Reformation's marketing department. Before this, she held marketing roles at Michael Kors and James Perse.
