Hair and beauty guidance updated ahead of further lockdown easing

The English government has updated the guidance for close contact businesses, including hair and beauty salons, ahead of the further easing of lockdown restrictions on 17 May.

Step 3 of the Roadmap will see the re-opening of saunas and steam rooms, while hair and beauty salons will once again be able to start providing their customers with refreshments - in line with the guidance for restaurants, pubs, bars and takeaway services.

Hair and beauty salons will also be able to offer customers reading materials such as newspapers and magazines in waiting areas.
