US blow-dry salon Drybar has opened in the UK for the first time, exclusively at Harrods and H beauty stores across the UK.

Founded in 2010 by Alli Webb, Drybar is a US-based salon chain that focuses on blow-dries with the philosophy of "No Cuts. No Colour. Just Blow-dries".

First opening at Harrods in Knightsbridge, Drybar will also join the retailer's H beauty locations in Milton Keynes and Lakeside on the 28 January and Edinburgh in February.

Open from 7am to 8pm, Drybar offers a cocktail inspired treatment menu with eight styles for clients to choose from, including The Manhattan (straight, sleek and smooth), Old Fashioned (Hollywood vintage waves), Cosmo (loose curls), The Mai Tai (beachy waves) and The Uptini (updo).

Additionally, there are add-on style options available from the salon’s braid bar and a Sweet Lemonade treatment for those aged 10 and under. Drybar haircare products are also available to purchase in-store and online at Harrods and H beauty.

Annalise Fard, Beauty Director at Harrods, said: “We are incredibly excited to be launching the Drybar brand exclusively into the UK for the very first time.

"As a leading authority in luxury and the beauty space, we are renowned for bringing game-changing services and quality products from around the globe to our Harrods and H beauty clients. Visitors to our Drybar locations can pop by for a quick blow-dry before an exciting event, between meetings or ahead of spontaneous date night and will leave looking and feeling their best.”

This news follows Harrods' confirmation that it will open its next H Beauty location in Bristol this spring.

As part of TheIndustry.fashion's Secret Shopper series, we visited the H beauty store at St James Quarter in Edinburgh. The 21,000 sq ft store opened in late November.
