Hello Klean launches first out-of-home campaign across London hard-water hotspots
London beauty-tech brand Hello Klean has launched its first out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaign, bringing its messaging around hard water into public spaces across the capital.
The campaign promotes the brand's Shower Head+ and runs across 200 bus stop sites in areas including Notting Hill, Battersea and Islington, alongside a large-format digital screen on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch.

Hello Klean says the creative draws from product-led advertising of the late 1990s and early 2000s, using minimal copy to prompt curiosity rather than deliver a full product explanation at a glance. The intent is to leave pedestrians with a question about whether their water could be affecting their hair or skin.
"We intentionally kept the messaging as minimal as possible because out-of-home should make you pause, not tell you everything," said Karlee Zhang, co-founder and CMO of Hello Klean.
"If someone walks past one of our posters on the way home and starts wondering whether their water could be affecting their hair or skin, then we've done our job. The goal wasn't to persuade people to buy something. It was to make them question something they experience every day but rarely think about."
Hello Klean has positioned itself as a pioneer in the beauty filtration category, championing the impact of water quality on hair and skin before the conversation gained mainstream attention. Founder Zhang has previously said the company launched with an initial investment of £60,000 and validated its business model through Dragons' Den before expanding into major retail partnerships.
Its first OOH push signals a shift in how Hello Klean is approaching consumer awareness, reaching people in public before they enter a retail environment or begin searching online. For a category that still sits between beauty, wellness and home-tech, the London street campaign is intended to normalise shower filtration while promoting the brand's Shower Head+.
The campaign follows BRITA's strategic investment in Hello Klean earlier this year, the filtration company's first move into beauty. The companies said the investment will support product development and international expansion from Hello Klean's UK base.
