Hermès Beauty has unveiled its fourth beauty chapter called Plein Air, a range of complexion make-up that includes a tinted skin cream, matte and glow powders, blotting paper and a powder brush.

The Plein Air tinted skin cream is formulated with a hyaluronic acid complex to maintain the skin’s moisture levels. It also features evening primrose oil and Baikal skullcap plant to act as a shield against urban pollution.

For oilier complexions Hermès has created the translucent Radiant Matte Powder, which uses mulberry extract to keep makeup from caking and the complexion from drying out. Its counterpart is the Radiant Glow Powder, which contains similar ingredients but sets makeup with a shinier finish.

The luxury brand also created its own blotting paper, made out of hemp fibres, wood pulp and soft kozo fibres derived from the paper mulberry tree. The range is completed with a powder brush made out of lacquered wooden handle.

Agnès de Villers, who recently joined Hermès' executive committee, launched the luxury brand's Beauty channel in March 2020 stating that it would be "a true growth driver for the group". She joined Hermès in 2015 to lead the brand's perfume department. Hermès launched beauty with a range of refillable lipsticks, followed by a range of nail polishes.
