Holland & Barret is expanding into Greece, Romania and Bulgaria

Holland & Barrett (H&B) is intending to open 120 physical retail stores in Greece, Romania and Bulgaria as well as a websites in 2022.

The health and wellness retailer has partnered with the Fourlis Group to facilitate the expansion into the new markets employing an Omnichannel strategy.

H&B has a retail presence of more than 1600 stores across 18 countries worldwide, including over 800 in the UK and Ireland, as well as an e-commerce business.

H&B is fast becoming a true global brand, with H&B product available in stores and online in 18 countries around the world with more planned for the future."

H&B launched a sustainability focused pop-up store in London's St. Pancreas last week, with a focus on cutting carbon emissions for shoppers. The 732 sq ft pop-up store has been fitted using 100% recyclable materials.

Last year the retailer received Superbrand status at the 2021 Superbrands awards in the retail beauty and wellbeing category.
