Holland & Barrett launches free online wellness service
Holland & Barrett has launched a new online consultation service, offering a 15-minute virtual video session with a qualified health and wellness advisor.
Aiming to improve consumers omni-channel experience, advisors will be able to provide impartial advice on a range of health concerns. This includes immunity, general nutrition, hair, skin and nails health, weight management, gut health and women’s health.
The advisors will work with customers to discuss their needs and if required, build a basket of recommended products throughout their chat. The customer will then be sent their recommendations once the consultation has finished.
The consultation service, available from 8am to 8pm everyday, can be accessed via chat live or through bookings online.
Holland & Barrett saw a successful trial of this service and received "overwhelmingly positive" feedback from customers. The results from the trial revealed the most popular topics for advice were hair, skin and nail health and general nutrition.
Anthony Houghton, Group Retail & Property Director at Holland & Barrett, said: “We have an exciting opportunity to expand the reach of Holland & Barrett by moving beyond just offering wellness products and advice, to offering personalised services, diagnostics and wellness solutions across our digital and retail channels.
"Bringing the advice our nutritionists and colleagues are known and trusted for to our customers at home or wherever they feel comfortable is really important to us. We know how much it can help having a friendly face to chat to and with the launch of our online consultations, we will be bringing the best of the in-store Holland & Barrett shopping experience to our customers however and wherever they want to shop with us."
