British brand Balance Me is addressing one of the biggest skincare concerns with its latest launch, introducing a new Azelaic Dark Spot Serum to tackle pigmentation.

Tackling the pigmentation pathway at every stage, the new serum features an "innovative" blend of potent actives that help reduce and prevent pigmentation, leaving users with a smoother, more even complexion and firmer looking skin.

The product is packed with antioxidant-rich ingredients to provide skin barrier protection, including niacinamide and cellucap resveratrol, plus plant-based retinoid bidens pilosa to "support ageing skin without causing skin sensitivity".

As with all Balance Me formulations, the new serum has also been crafted with a 100% natural bespoke fragrance combining a blend of soothing and uplifting essential oils.

It boasts mandarin and lavender to "relax and calm the mind and body", alongside sweet orange, may chang and ylang ylang to "boost confidence, energise and brighten your mood".

"Pigmentation is one of the most common skin concerns (behind fine lines and wrinkles) that our customers experience", Balance Me told TheIndustry.beauty.

"It was important for us to have a targeted product designed to reduce existing pigmentation. What makes this launch special, is that tackles every stage of the pigmentation pathway – not only reducing existing pigmentation, but also helping to prevent future pigmentation from forming."

Balance Me was founded by Rebecca and Clare Hopkins in 2005. Rooted in the sisters' holistic approach to beauty, the natural skincare brand offers gentle yet effective products formulated with botanical extracts and essential oils.

With a commitment to sustainability and transparency, the business has gained popularity for its skincare solutions tailored to promote balance and harmony in the skin.
