How Daylesford is bringing wellbeing into everyday household care
Wellbeing extends beyond what we consume to include the products we use in our homes and on our skin - and Daylesford’s latest lifestyle launch embodies this approach.
Developed under the principle "Safe for Soil, Safe for Life", the British brand has introduced a natural, certified organic and fully recyclable household cleaning collection.
Dermatologically tested, the range is designed for use around families, pets and across household surfaces, with formulations that "clean effectively without leaving chemical residues".
The collection is free from a number of chemicals commonly found in conventional cleaning products, including ammonia, bleach, diethanolamine, parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals and triethanolamine, which are often linked to skin, respiratory or environmental concerns.
Commenting on this, founder Carole Bamford said: "I founded Daylesford on the belief that we should live more consciously - avoiding harmful chemicals to protect the wellbeing of my young family and the planet.
"Our new cleaning range embodies this commitment, made with certified organic, natural ingredients that are gentle on children, pets and the world around us. Peace of mind, in every bottle."
The initial launch includes five products: Natural Multi-Surface Cleaner, Natural Washing Up Liquid, Natural Laundry Detergent, Natural Laundry Conditioner and Natural Ironing Water.
While many natural cleaning products are fragrance-free, Daylesford’s collection incorporates botanical scents including chamomile, neroli and cedarwood. Laundry products are infused with wild blue basil, grown in Carole Bamford’s private walled garden.
Each product also contains a minimum of 98% natural origin ingredients, with at least 73% certified organic by the Soil Association.
The collection is packaged in reusable, fully recyclable dark amber bottles to protect formulas from UV exposure, with refill options available at launch to help reduce packaging waste.
