How SunSolve MD is setting a new standard in sun care with 'first-of-its-kind' AI-powered platform
SunSolve MD, a new science-led, dermatologist-founded sun protection brand, has partnered with beauty tech platform Revieve to launch an AI-powered skincare advisor experience.
The collaboration promises a "first-of-its-kind" skin analysis and sun care experience for consumers across the UK and US, both online and in-store at premium retailers including Harrods (UK), Bluemercury (US), and Bergdorf Goodman (US).

Combining medical-grade innovation with AI, the new SunSolve Skincare Advisor delivers real-time skin assessments and personalised SPF-first skincare routines to make sun care "smarter, simpler, and more visually compelling than ever".
Using over 100 skin metrics from a selfie and a short lifestyle quiz, users can receive customised product recommendation that addresses their skin goals - whether shopping online or testing in-store.
Sampo Parkkinen, CEO of Revieve, said: "Our technology is designed to make smarter skincare accessible, visual, and results-driven. With SunSolve MD, we’re addressing one of the most overlooked aspects of skincare - sun protection - with intelligence, ease, and real-time personalisation."
Launched last month, SunSolve MD is a new SPF brand with a mission to "redefine how we think about sunscreen" - not as an afterthought, but as the foundation of an effective skincare routine.
Powered by dermatology-driven technology and medical-grade actives, the brand offers targeted solutions for specific skin concerns - combining advanced skincare with effective sun defence.
Its non-nano zinc oxide formulas work to address concerns like ageing, pigmentation, and sensitivity, while being eco-conscious and suitable for all skin tones.
Portia Dieguez, Chief Strategy Officer at SunSolve MD, said: "Our products are about radical simplicity and skin health without compromise. Together with Revieve’s AI technology, we’re not just personalising skincare - we’re creating a new category where sun protection is no longer an afterthought, but a foundational step of modern skincare."
Beyond its formulations, SunSolve MD is on a mission to educate consumers about SPF’s essential role in daily skincare.
Through digital content, AI-guided discovery, and advocacy partnerships, the brand aims to address a "major gap in public knowledge": that "UV protection is not seasonal - it’s essential, every day, year-round".
"People don’t realise that over 90% of visible skin aging is due to sun exposure. With tools like the AI Advisor and our commitment to education, we’re helping customers become smarter, more proactive, and more confident in their routines," added Dieguez.
